Make Easy Contracts cancellable

How would this benefit Alora?:

Easy Contracts aren't cancellable on OSRS to basically prevent players from ultimately selecting which Hard Contracts they want by cancelling contracts as many times as needed.

 

On Alora, Hard Contracts are cancellable without penalty. Not being able to cancel an Easy Contract simply punishes someone who accidentally selects an Easy Contract.

I could be wrong, but I think easy contracts are not cancellable because they allow for easy "farming" of seed packs in early levels. This devalues a lot of early-mid game content that rewards specific seeds you need especially as an iron. Things like wintertotd, pickpocketing master farmers, low level slayer, wildy monsters, brim/larren's chests etc wouldn't be as utilized if you could spam easy contracts.

Although this is also true for hard, is has less of an impact because of the greater number of seeds you need in the late game - it doesn't completely devalue other content/activities.

I'm Neutral on this suggestion personally.

Support. Always annoying when you accidentally select an easy contract instead of a hard one, and I don't see any downsides. 

 

Edit - I see what @gim crohn is talking about now, but I still support its annoying as hell regardless

Consistency is key.  If you can cancel hard contracts without penalty, it's only fair to do the same for easy contracts.

My first easy contract was to grow an herb, which I did not have the farming level to even use the patch required. Was a low level herb but can't use the patch till 65. Wouldn't let me skip the task. Had to grind out 65 farming just to complete it. I also got that contract in 2018 and didn't complete it till I came back in 2022 sooo... It's probably been fixed by now 

 

I'm Neutral on this suggestion personally.

 

I agree with Crohn though, I am Neutral. Would be nice adjustment but wouldn't want it to mess with farming seed packs.

I concur with the NEUTRAL stand.

 

Although it is annoying when chosen, majority of the easy contract seeds can be obtained from thieving the master farmer or birds nests.
