Hello everyone,
Today's update brings many Wilderness changes! First and foremost, Revenant Maledictus has taken a hold of the Revenant cave and has a chance to appear after players kill a revenant. We've also added numerous new monsters to the Wildy slayer cave, and added new tasks for Wilderness Slayer. We've also taken the time to update the music for many new regions of the game, as we haven't updated music very much since Alora originally released back in 2016. Additionally, a few other neat updates have been added, such as the ability to toggle the login screen runes once again, new bone weapons, clan chat QoL to make it easier to rank clan members, and more.
- Revenant Maledictus:
- Revenant Maledictus is a Superior Revenant mini-boss that now has a chance to spawn while players kill Revenants in the Wilderness Revenant Cave.
- As players kill more revenants, the likelihood of Revenant Maledictus spawning increases.
- After a certain point, Revenant Maledictus will spawn somewhere in the cave, notifying all players of it’s location with a message notification and hint arrow.
- Revenant Maledictus also has a fail-safe feature that guarantees that it spawns at least every 2 hours.
- Along with this, Revenant Maledictus cannot spawn more than once every 15 minutes.
- Once Revenant Maledictus is dead, any players who contributed at least 100 damage to the kill will receive a small blighted supply drop.
- The player who dealt the most damage will receive 2 rolls on the Revenant dragon drop table, and a guaranteed drop of either an ancient totem or ancient emblem.
- If this player has the Amulet of Avarice equipped, they will also be provided with the Forinthry Surge buff, which provides a 15% boost to damage and accuracy against all revenants for 30 minutes.
- This buff is only active while the player is skulled, and will be removed if the player removes the Amulet of Avarice.
- If a player is killed by another player with this buff, that buff will be passed to the player that killed them, if the killer also had an amulet of avarice equipped.
- If this player has the Amulet of Avarice equipped, they will also be provided with the Forinthry Surge buff, which provides a 15% boost to damage and accuracy against all revenants for 30 minutes.
- The player who dealt the most damage will receive 2 rolls on the Revenant dragon drop table, and a guaranteed drop of either an ancient totem or ancient emblem.
- Revenant Maledictus will act as though it is in a multi-combat area, being able to be attacked all players nearby, as well as able to target all players nearby.
- Players will be able to freely attack Revenant Maledictus if they are already under attack by an npc or player.
- As players kill more revenants, the likelihood of Revenant Maledictus spawning increases.

- Previously, players could only use 1 jar on a display case to display that boss.
- To do so, simply use any boss jar on any display case in a house that you own, and it will automatically add that jar to your display case and change the display.
- Players cannot display 2 of the same Jars at once.
- For example, if a player has multiple display cases in their house, only one of them can be set to display the Jar of swamp, even if the player has duplicates.
- Players cannot display 2 of the same Jars at once.
- Players who already have jars in their display cases will automatically have them added to their list of stored jars.
- Removing a display case object or deleting a room will not destroy all of the stored jars.
- These jars can be re-obtained/set when the player builds a new display case.
- Note:
- Players will not be able to remove a jar from a display case if they have multiple display cases with the same boss in it (this would only be possible before this update).
- To remove a jar from a display in this case, the player would need to change the duplicate display cases to another display (or empty), or delete the display case/room.

- This means it also requires double the amount of Volcanic ash to make ultra compost.
- It still requires only 1 dose of compost potion to convert from compost to super compost.
- This means it also requires double the amount of Volcanic ash to make ultra compost.
- Unlike other compost bins, the big compost bin stores up to 30 items, rather than the standard 15.
- Players can add compostable materials (super/regular) into this bin to make compost/supercompost.
- The Big compost bin in the Farming guild is now fully functional.
- Clan Chat Changes:
- Any clan setting changes will now be broadcast to the entire clan.
- For example, if the owner changes the minimum rank required to speak in the clan chat, it will be broadcast to anyone in the chat.
- Clan Promotion Permissions:
- The owner of a clan can now specify which clan ranks are allowed to promote/demote other members.
- This option is right under the “Who can kick in chat?” Option in the clan setup interface.
- The ranks who are eligible to promote other players are Corporal or higher.
- This option is right under the “Who can kick in chat?” Option in the clan setup interface.
- Ranked members can only promote/demote members in the clan that meet the following requirements:
- The member must be on the owner’s friends list (therefore they are listed as members in the Clan Chat Setup interface).
- This is similar to how the owner would normally have to rank members.
- Ranked members can only promote/demote members who have a lesser rank than them.
- So for example, if there are 2 generals in the chat, neither general can promote/demote the other.
- The member must be on the owner’s friends list (therefore they are listed as members in the Clan Chat Setup interface).
- The option to change a player’s rank will appear when hovering over a member’s name in the clan chat tab only if that member is a lower rank than you.
- The owner of a clan can now specify which clan ranks are allowed to promote/demote other members.

- Player owned houses:
- When joining a player’s house, if you have already been in someone’s house since logging in, it will suggest an option in the chatbox to join the last player’s house immediately, rather than requiring that the player type in their name again.
- Clan chats:
- After the player has left a clan and joined a new one, it will remember the last clan they were in, so when they leave their current clan, an option will appear to join the last clan they were in right away, without needing to type the clan owner’s name in again.
- For example, if a player joins the “Alora” clan chat, then leaves to join the “Ironman” clan chat, when they leave the “Ironman” clan chat and try to join a new one, it will have a “Last clan: Alora” option at the top of the input box.
- After the player has left a clan and joined a new one, it will remember the last clan they were in, so when they leave their current clan, an option will appear to join the last clan they were in right away, without needing to type the clan owner’s name in again.

- Farming Guild Redwoods:
- Players can now chop the Redwood tree that they grow in the Farming guild.
- To begin doing so, the Redwood tree must be fully grown, and the player must first check the health of the tree to obtain the experience.
- After this, players will have the option to either clear the tree, or chop it.
- To chop the tree, there are 2 ladders (one on the east side of the tree, and one on the west side) that the player can climb, and they will find 4 choppable areas on the tree.
- Unlike other trees, since the redwood tree is a player’s grown tree, it’ll only ever become chopped/depleted when that specific player cuts it.
- This means multiple players can be cutting the same part of the tree, but it will not effect the depletion of it.
- Unlike other trees, since the redwood tree is a player’s grown tree, it’ll only ever become chopped/depleted when that specific player cuts it.
- To chop the tree, there are 2 ladders (one on the east side of the tree, and one on the west side) that the player can climb, and they will find 4 choppable areas on the tree.
- After this, players will have the option to either clear the tree, or chop it.
- To begin doing so, the Redwood tree must be fully grown, and the player must first check the health of the tree to obtain the experience.
- The redwood trees will continue to regrow like normal trees, so they can be continuously chopped, however players will only be able to check them for experience once per cycle (1 redwood tree seed = 1 experience check).
- This is the closest redwood tree to a bank/deposit box, so it’s quite beneficial for players to grow and use this tree to woodcut.
- Players can now chop the Redwood tree that they grow in the Farming guild.

- We’ve updated the Bolt enchanting system to now work similar to OSRS.
- This new interface will allow players to enchant bolts in a slightly more clear and less click-intensive way.
- The classic bolt enchanting interface has been removed, now using the newer skilling chatbox interface.
- The bolts that a player can enchant will appear in the skilling interface, and players can select an amount of bolts to enchant from 1-10.
- Each enchant will enchant 10 bolts at a time, so a maximum of 100 bolts can be enchanted before the player will need to re-open the prompt.
