G'day fellow gamers,
Now the dust has settled over the controversial Abu Dhabi GP, I'm eager to know other peoples opinions and thoughts on:
- Did Masi make the right call?
- Did Verstappen Deserve the Championship?
In all honesty, I do believe it was the right call BUT executed at the wrong time. If Masi straight away unlapped the cars, I understand the danger of the removal of Latifi's car, there would've been no complaints. But because it was done after Masi said cars wont be unlapped, that's why theres so much controversy I believe.
Verstappen has had a stellar season, his track record in comparison to Hamilton was immeasurable. Not to mention the questionable Silverstone incident, neither less I know a lot of people have slammed Verstappen on his driving manoeuvres while fighting for the championship but if you look back to all the previous winners championship battles such as Senna v Prost, Hamilton v Nico, Vettel v Webber - tell me that no other battle never had any 'dick' moves about them and I'll keep quiet. Everyone's drove a bit cheeky before, no questions asked.
Also can we just rewind the Checo v Hamilton battle at Abu Dhabi? God damn that was some damn fine racing to watch. Kind of battles you see in DTM or WEC, just lovely.
Ricciardo 2022 WDC obviously.
