What is your suggestion?:

Make the revenant entrances either one way, so if you go in then you can't go out unless you teleport

or have a 7 second deadman mode timer where you need to be out of combat for 7 seconds to leave.

How would this benefit Alora?:

People are always spamming the entrance if a pker is on them and it makes it literally impossible to die in the caves.

PKers already have it too easy with literal teleports right next to your targets and people in the wildy.

Removing one of the few mechanics people have to gap/log/evade a Pker seems unhealthy for the current balance of Alora scarse Wilderness action.

 

EDIT: Additionally, hits still go through even if you dont seem them yourself, so eventually the player running away is gonna run out of food, so its not something you can do forever to never die.

I can counter your first point and say that pvmers have it way too easy with a teleport to every boss in the game. Revenants are insanely op for ironmen to make insane money so I don't see how making it slightly more risky makes it "unhealthy".

 

As for your second point, myself and many others pk with a huge delay/lag so we don't have the opportunity to hit them everytime they go in and out.

As someone who been at revenants probably more than anyone else.

 

I can agree that its not that hard to survive in revenants. Spamming the entrance shouldnt be a thing(Specially not with the bugged singles+), Why not just give it a cooldown. So if you can only use it 1x every 5-10 seconds, cus you cant use the entrance while being frozen, that way someone can atleast freeze you, while not punishing those that just want to run out of cave to get help/escape to lower lvl wildy.

 

I wouldnt make it a one way entrance, cus on alora the mage+range is really busted. So if you cant leave cave. You legit have no fighting chance of surviving or even fighting back if you're on an ironman and dont want to risk huge amounts of gear.

 

And i feel like the way revenant caves are. Its nearly impossible to kill a pker inside cus of the way single+ is here. (Can legit freeze step under and logout) I dont think the cave jumping should bring an extra mean of survival for pkers.

   With someone who has experienced this first hand, being able to spam the entrance takes no time to get a logout. I think a delay on how fast you can leave and enter the cave is a good idea. Good luck with your suggestion.

I feel people like me your favourite targets only go there because they have a chance off escaping now. I think by doing this you will just make us leave wildy entirely and kill off whatever is left of wildy activity which would also be a bad thing for pkers. No support.

This won’t kill wildy/rev caves since it’s still one of the better money makers in the game.
Wildy will and should always be a risk, revs however is way too beneficial for pvmers.

People who camp imps/goblins are unkillable due to how close they are to the door, especially if you have a shitty ping.

Fully support this walking in and out especially in south entrance is dumb

You get a chat warning about bh target tping to you and you have so long to tp out as the tb has to physically land on the target before it tskes effect even if you get the message "you landed a full tb on ur target " while the spell still is in the air u can tp
