What is your suggestion?: Reworking the clan system on alora to mostly match OSRS

Is this in OSRS?: Yes

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: No 

How would this benefit Alora?: Clans and their members have access to several exclusive features:

  • Clan-only chat channel, and interfaces for managing the clan and recruiting members.
  • Clan Halls, a private area that can only be accessed by members of the clan the player is in.
  • Clan vexillums which can be used for advertising and recruiting other members to the clan.
  • Clan Coffer which acts as a private shared money bank for the clan.
  • Clan cloaks for all members of the clan to wear.
  • Recruiters can advertise the clan on the Recruitment Board in the Clan Hub at the Grand Exchange.
  • Clan Settings which allows players to customise their clan motif, rank titles, permissions, and more.

 

 

A few of these things could be disregarded, the clan coffer can prevent anyone but trusted members from withdrawing and also streamlines the donation process for clans. 

The clan vexillums can take a lot of the clan recruitment currently in yell and transform them to a viewable thing/placement in the new clan hub.

Clan cloaks give clans something to come together on in clan wars/in wildy.

Clan halls is a nice hub for private clan events/ clan only area.

Would be a nice addition and make clans more active than they already are! If OSRS has it, it would bring Alora that much further. Clan banners etc. would just be a even larger way to represent your clan. Clan halls would also be a really cool idea, each clan to have their own little area :D

It has been decided that it would be best to take the best features from the Clans feature and implement them on Alora. As Omicron mentioned above, it would take a lot of development time to implement.
