What is your suggestion?:

Add the cooks assistant quest

Is this in OSRS?:

yes

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:

not that I could find

How would this benefit Alora?:

Currently Tears of Guthix is locked behind completing at least one quest. This prevents any skillers from playing the minigame as all available quests require combat in some form, with the least being Mountain Daughter that requires the player to beat a level 70 npc.

Cook's assistant is a relatively simple quest, which brings benefits both to the devs for a quick turn around, and for players to easily complete it and earn a little extra time, while unlocking a beneficial minigame for the skilling population

I support the idea. I think having more quests could never be an awful thing. And you can only do Tears of Guthix every 3 days I believe anyways.

Support. Adding new quests in general sounds amazing, I would love to see it. Additionally it would be fun to see skillers walking around with their lvl3 accounts xD this change would definitely change the way some ppl look at the game. More options, more fun.

Even if we added the Cooks assistant quest so that skillers could complete tears of guthix, it would just ruin any skilling account. The Tears of Guthix minigame adds experience in a player's lowest skill (going through skills from left->right/top->bottom), so this would just give the skiller combat experience anyways.

Interesting. I asked other players about this early on when I joined and they seemed to imply that it did not put experience into combat skills. That does mean this is useless then. Thanks for the insights!

Don't kink shame me! I enjoy the methodic process of grinding out skills without having to worry about the focus that's required of combat. Trying to do the same on OSRS is such a pain. The benefit of a low exp tier on a game like alora is for those who enjoy the grind, but still like to not waste their time walking around the game

It does indeed add it to combat skills, but I imagine that's usually the highest skill for most people, since it will always go to the skill with the lowest exp (unless all are the same experience, then it will go from left->right/top->bottom). I'll leave this open, since I could add Cook's assistant relatively quickly, but I'm not sure there'd be a point other than a nostalgic early-game quest.
