What is your suggestion?:

 

You know how max capes have customizations?

Assembler / Mage / Inferno / Fire / Mythical

 

Make customizations for the rune pouch!

Normal / Ancients / Lunar / Arceeus

 

 

Is this in OSRS?:

No.  This would be a unique alora feature that saves everyone time.

 

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:

No.

 

How would this benefit Alora?:

 

This new features solves a few issues that no one likes... 

 

1. No one likes receiving a rune pouch from a wilderness boss and not being able to pick it up because you already own a rune pouch in your bank.

2. No one likes having to pay another 500k to buy the rune pouch back from the untradeables store when you couldn't pick up the dupe you got earlier.

2. No one likes having to empty and refill their rune pouch every time they go from barraging to vengeance to resurrection to surging.

 

Just allow players to customize their rune pouches into 4 different versions, one for each spellbook.

 

No more accidentally showing up to a NH fight with vengeance runes in your pouch.  

You can just grab your ancient rune pouch out of your bank.

Want to use thralls for pvm? 

Easy!  Grab your arceuus rune pouch.

 

By allowing players to customize their rune pouches similar to max capes, we have a chance to improve quality of life, revive dead content, and encourage wilderness activity.

 

We have a chance to be better than OSRS here.

This is a very different but unique idea!

I've always believed that Alora is one of the best RSPS's on the scene and there a certain unique updates which separates Alora from the rest. If this suggestion was accepted I feel that this would help that cause just that little bit more.

It's a support from me.

Have to say this could be an awesome quality of life change. I believe RS3 has something similar where you can have multiple pouches and dye them to differentiate them from one another or something like that. Been a while so not 100% sure about that. Did you have something in mind how one would "customize" them?

 

All in all interesting idea and this would make switching between different spells/runes so much more convenient. Support.

But I do think that would be an interesting discussion to have with the community

All for it, but I think maybe the overlapping runes shared between books could cause a bit of an issue.

The overlapping of runes could be a little bit overpowered, but as long as you're limited to one pouch in your inventory at a time, I don't think there will be an issue.

I don't really think this is worth the time investment to implement, since it there's a lot of nuances that would need to be fleshed out just for the customizability of some runes in the pouch. A more feasible suggestion would be to allow inventory setups to include rune pouch runes, which would be a lot more achievable and worth the time investment that would be required.

That's a pretty good point @Omicron!  Allowing inventory set ups to include rune pouch runes would be pretty bad ass!
