Before I begin, YES I am a Fabled "NORMIE", but I feel this goes for all accounts.

 

The shooting star needs 1 of two changes in order for it to be more valuable to the game (* I am not talking about the loot it gives, only the dust *)

 

1. Make star spawn every 15-30 mins, same stats same despawn rate, but gives more chances for those who login here and there and are your typical ROSE SKIN sweat shops.

this gives ironman and normies a chance to get those 12k star dust we need for recoloring an outfit without waiting 12 years.

 

 

2. x3 the scale of stardust from 1100 to 3000-3500 per star and keep the same crash down times.

A shooting star that grants xp to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, spawning every 15 minutes, sounds a little bit too overpowered to me.
 

As a comped realism player on 2x, I usually get 45k xp from 1st place and 25k or so from 2nd (weekends).  On normie, this would be completely over powered.

Agreed with Real Alan,

As a EIM I'm getting 160k for 1st. Super over-powered as is IMO. Collecting enough stardust for the entire recolor pieces(star fragments) + ring. I've collected ~10k stardust in excess in maybe just a week's time in-game. 

 

Possible Solution:

Perhaps using this guide will help you out https://www.alora.io...location-guide/ like it did me. Getting to the star first = more XP, more stardust.

Im not talking about the EXP, @Real Alan, im talking about the dust for the Cosmetics, i just want more dust! or for the re colors to be 1500 not 3k.

My advice to you is to start going to wilderness stars.  Usually you can solo the star, granting you about 1k star dust per star.

 

You get more if you're higher donor rank.
