Suggestion:
Allow items to be donated to the lottery manager for tickets, have it clearly stated any item will be rounded down to the nearest ticket value.
Benefits:
This could begin to create an item sink, while also decreasing the value of gp since more money would be generated through the lottery system for the items being put in. This would have to be evaluated to make sure junk items aren't being thrown in for more than they're worth (such as a Shayzien banner being valued at 866k when no one buys it).
If done right this will increase the cost of items making PvM more profitable, while also having a method other than the well of goodwill, to have items removed from the game (a problem OSRS is curerntly facing).
Since the player is not getting money back directly and it's given to only the lottery winner it's not like they can exchange an item for money directly, the item is consumed and the GP is given to the winner. This could have us see even larger payouts than in the past, making it more exciting for players to join in.
