 Hey,

Has the community talked about running Rune Dragon Alts (on Oldschool Runescape) much? It might be worth the investment to have the account running while on Alora, for passive GP to be generated for whatever.

I'm running one right now, and have the RDA optimized via this article and the methods it talks about, it's pretty good. It uses the Dragon Hunter Lance and max defence, so there really isn't much clicking, and I can see someone playing this RSPS while having the account going without dying, for reasons I've explained.

I don't know. Has it been talked about? What do you guys think about Rune Dragon Alts (RDA)? Let me know if you use them or if there's something better either in another money making method or in trying to optimize the account type a little bit more.

Never really thought about RDAs on Alora and I honestly think nobody does it. If you want to farm money on your alt account you basically just camp revs. Much more GP/h i'd say without the high requirements in gear/combat.

I tend to agree with Arosa on this one.  I know that RDA's are great (if not some of the best) money on Old School, but I don't think that they translate as well here on Alora.

I suppose it wouldn't hurt all that much to try, as they're much easier to create on here as opposed to actual OSRS.  Who knows - maybe you might end up hitting the jackpot though if you're the only one who tries it!  No promises though :P

Thanks for providing feedback,

I did mean OSRS with this, though. They are a lot better on Oldschool Runescape and the pitch was to run one over there on the side of this private server to make money on Oldschool, not here. I should've cleared that up though, my bad!

Right, you wrote "(on Oldschool Runescape)" indeed though, sorry must have read over that...

That's a good way to farm OSRS money on the side playing Alora I guess. Unfortunately I don't play OSRS myself so I have no clue what the best money making methods there are

I tend to write very OTT long-winded posts on forums, so I understand your mistake of reading over a small bit of information like this. Maybe the information will help Alora players who play Oldschool Runescape.

The investments a Rune Dragon Alt takes in the main game are way too high for someone who doesn't play OSRS to do this, though. I agree with that statement

Ah okay, that makes a lot more sense then!  I'd say in this case, then yeah go for it.  It's pretty afk from what I've heard and it'll give you something else to do...alongside making you good passive gp/income on the side of course.

I'm posting in this thread again because this website generated a lot of traffic to the articleI know there aren't people who play Oldschool Runescape, and that's my mistake, but I'm wondering if the people who replied can give out some feedback. Asking here because out of all the sites I think this would be the best place, but you don't have to give feedback of course.

@Warm @Arosa

I changed up some of the design on-site and was wondering if you have feedback. Before, it wasn't really ready for the user to be visiting, but now it should be somewhat usable. Let me know what you think if you do decide to check it out, and what you would change also, etc.

Nice to hear, that Alora generated a lot of traffic, that means you did something good :)

In my opinion the article looks good, your writing is readable and understandable. I like the post the way it is.

Bit late however, when I was maxing on 07 I ran 2 rune drag alts for majority, averaged around 40m profit per day excluding uniques at the time. I would reccomend it as with justiciar and dragon hunter lance its very afk and great passive income.
