Hello everyone, we have a short and quick poll today. We're working Herbiboar into the next update (along with other pieces of Fossil Island content), and while doing so, the question of what to about all the current Herbi pets arose. Herbi is a pet normally only obtainable by doing Herbiboar (therefore it's a Hunter pet, rather than a Herblore pet), however at the time of the original release, Alora did not have the Herbiboar hunting method implemented, and nor did we intend to add it for a while, so rather we added Herbi as an obtainable pet from doing Herblore. The issue with this is that the pet was far more common than intended, leaving players with many duplicate pets. The proposed changes for this next update would be to remove everyone's existing Herbi pet, and make it only obtainable from Herbiboar as it is meant to be. We don't want to force this as an unwanted change to players, so we've decided to poll it. We also would appreciate any feedback regarding alternative measures, so let us know what you think! If this poll is accepted, it would also open up the possibility for a custom Herblore pet, but it would be rarer than Herbi currently is from doing Herblore.

Yes, it will work like it does on OSRS so the tracks are local to each player.

Like the idea to add herbiboar to Alora. Doesn't really matter for me, what happens to Herbi pets imo.

Always support the idea of making pets more elusive and mirror OSRS. Perhaps the suggestion of the Bloodhound could be looked at soon too and removed from vote shop and obtained from master clues which I know has been suggested before?

I would rather have mimic pet from daily log in removed and added to clue loot.

 

Mimic pet should absolutely not be a squeal of fortune reward.

Every pet that is osrs exclusive should be obtained through said content but that's my opinion. Take my Herbi and make me hunt for it. I support it.
