Hello, Welcome to my COX Solo Guide. Some information may stay unchanged while the videos / some information will be updated (7/18/24)

Here is the setup I use now: Upgrade or downgrade gear where you can

OUkqDWP.png

Rooms:

Crabs:

Extremely easy room. You will need to hit every crystal with a certain type of attack style depending on what color the crystal is.

Black crystal = no attack style

Blue crystal = melee

Purple crystal = range

Yellow crystal = mage

Guardians:
For this room you will need a pickaxe. Pot up for melee, turn on piety attack it and run out of distance for it to attack you back. Repeat until both are dead. Very easy room.
(old)
(new)

Ice Demon:
Chop some wood, put it in brazier, wait for him to unfreeze. Dump specs (if you want) , if you have a 10 tile ranged wep you can do the method in the new video. if not run around like a idiot like the old video :)

(old)
(new)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CXvXvXp-04

Muttadiles:

One of the "harder" rooms but its not that bad. Start off by attacking the baby mutadile and pray range, once you see its attack animation pray mage. Repeat this until the baby is dead. Kill the big muttadile now it will always start ranging, after 3 attacks it will swap to mage and keep swapping every 3 attacks.
(old) https://youtu.be/40RdcPky7HY
new)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLfr1UqeATE

Mystics:

Easy room, kill mage, move onto the next. Salve ammy is good here
(old)https://youtu.be/9kMKcFRXtS8
(new)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_J5Elnc7ps

Tightrope:

Attack the mages 1 by 1 until they are all dead, attack the rangers 1 by 1 until they are all dead, cross the rope and pick up the crystal then drop it, move on.
(old)https://youtu.be/UYTF6SFw1dc
(new)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bSATg0ZplPo

Vasa:
Pretty easy room. Use melee equipment. Attack her until she goes to a crystal, you must then kill the crystal or she will attack you for 33 damage and stun you. If you kill the crystal she will not do this attack. Pray range whenever shes not at a crystal.

Update: I now prefer to use range at this boss (crystals are melee only) but if you dont have bowfa it might still be better to melee.

(old)https://youtu.be/9AOkgHNd29I
(new)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJ8jabCqcJU

Vespula:

Move under vespula 1 tile away from the opening, make sure to set quick prayers to redemption + rigour. Attack the portal until it dies, if redemption procs drink 1 dose restore and put it back up asap. repeat until portal is dead.

(old)https://youtu.be/-ocibECUdLs
(new)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vzwlM_HP6vM

Tekton:

Lure him away from the anvil as far as you can while attacking. He can only hit 16 while you're praying so make sure to keep up melee prayer and keep hp above 16. Dont spam click him because when he walks away if you click on him you wont be able to attack while hes walking.
(old)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tClbQsaNfPY
(new)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-xYhlJu-n4

Vanguards:

Stand under the one shown in the video and range the one at the top of the room. I can't upload the new video yet but what I do now is hit the top one for around 40 damage, melee the one you're under for around the same. After they phase 2x claw spec into the one you melee'd. Finish the first one, mage the last one.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUdoxIL-zvg

Thieving Room:
Get 20 worms from clicking chests, put in the feeding thing, room is done free points.
https://youtu.be/VbreM3ZiC-E

Olm:

In my opinion one of the easiest rooms in the entire raid after the rework. You will want to pray mage almost the entire time unless you are good at running the head, I'm pretty decent at running head but I still like to keep mage overhead on incase I mess up, I don't want to take too much damage.

Red portal: A crystal will fly down on top of you and deal big damage, either pray melee vs it or move 2 tiles away. Once you're good enough you can run head and run away from crystals at the same time.

1st phase: kill the mage hand completely with mage, then kill the melee hand completely. While killing the melee hand if you have (i believe its a 4 tick weapon) you can hit the melee hand 2 times before having to run back to make the head turn the other way.
2nd phase: Start on melee hand using melee until it heals or clenchs. From then on mage down the other hand until its pretty low (1-2 max hits)(if venom try to kill both hands as equal as possible so venom doesnt kill mage hand). Once mage hand is pretty low you want to completely kill the melee hand. Once melee hand is dead quickly kill the mage hand and now the 3rd phase will start.

3rd phase: Olm will instantly shoot out 2 blue pools which if not stood in will restore health to him and drain some from you. He will also shoot them out periodically throughout the head phase. Dodge crystals and run head (I like to pray melee so crystals dont hurt so much and run head) Make sure to stand in pools or pray mage vs them as they hit pretty hard and heal olm quite a bit.

4th Phase :COLLECT YOUR LOOT!!!!

(old)https://youtu.be/ab_ymmGVPmE
(new)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_IvaNAfAfbI

Full Run Example:https://www.youtube....h?v=jrZiUVv-nGA

You might need to do some farming inside the raid for supplies as they do not drop randomly anymore (some combat rooms still drop supplies).

Pretty solid guide. Missing a section on Vanguards, unless your recommendation within your guide is to skip these.

Think this will come in very handy for new players once bug fixes are done and CoX becomes active again.

They still drain your stats, always have. But the overload will restore your stats, rather than needing to drink a super restore.
