Shouldn't be up for debate, it's racism plain and simple. Just because the R is missing, doesn't make it less racist or insulting. Call a person of color either one and you'll see there is NO difference. Zph loves that word like nothing else, and I guarantee you he would never say it to any person of color's face. Racism has no place in video games or the world, it's 2020. Grow the hell up.

After sitting back and watching the yell chat over the weekend, it has indeed got out of hand and seems to do more harm than good on Alora and that's not what anyone wants. From here on, the word won't be allowed and any account with the word "nigga" in it will have a name change after the rule is updated. Any variation of the word such as "nibbla, rigga, n1gg4" etc. will also be muteable and explained in the rules fully.

 

The rule will be updated shortly.

Also, the filter will still be put in place as far as I know. I will update on that once I get more info regarding it.

@Sexy Woox It's just super weird that the staff team is all about jumping on punishments when it can be brushed under the rug, but actual rule breaking and obvious trolling with a derogatory term as your name / where everyone can see it is something they don't deal with at all? I don't get it, but super sad to see this being a thing after 4 years on this server.

This is literally ALL we were trying to accomplish. A community cannot be a community with racism running rampant. It may seem like no big deal to a select few, but I believe this thread showed the community's true thoughts on the matter. Thank you Lowkey for your efforts.
