Hello everyone, welcome to this month's edition of the Alora Newspaper.

 

We are extremely excited to finally announce the public release of Runelite. The new launcher can be found here or via the update thread below for full information on the update. Make sure to delete the old version of the client and clear your Alora cache to prevent any launching issues.

 

In other news, the official event thread for the first Alora PVM League has been posted. The event will begin July 3rd at 12:00 PM server time and run until 12:00 PM server time on July 19th. For more information check out the event thread here or via the link in the News section below. We look forward to your participation!

Promotions:

Elite has been promoted to Global Moderator.

Classic has been promoted to Server Moderator.

J boogs has returned to the Staff Team as Server Moderator.

 

Secondary ranks:

11 has added a Secondary rank to I afk

 

Resignations:

Stone has resigned from Server Moderator.

Aritus has resigned from Server Support.

gim deathkid: How does it feel to get 1 purple and 4 dusts within 400 ToB KC?

Miya: I just pray to the rng gods to upgrade my hilt... please!

 

gim deathkid: What is your favorite Alora content?

Miya: The community.

 

gim deathkid: What are your future plans on Alora?

Miya: Short term plan is to get 500 kc for both raid logs (I will post both on forums) and long term goal is to eventually max!

 

gim deathkid: What weird food combinations do you enjoy?

Miya: I mean coming from an Asian background, my ranges are probably considered weird but I have tried chicken feet from yum cha/dim sum!

Extremedanny: It makes me wanna buy a rope and a chair.

 

gim deathkid: What is your favorite pet? What pet are you going for next?

Extremedanny: Probably Noon with KQ and Hydra close behind it.

 

gim deathkid: What made you want to start collecting all of the pets?

Extremedanny: Always loved to PvM and my old friend Irvo was going for all pets so I joined him on the journey. Sadly he no longer plays, but I kept going.

 

gim deathkid: What has been your favorite update on Alora?

Extremedanny: Has to be cox. Wasted away too many hours there in search of the twisted bow but made a lot of friends on the way.

gim deathkid: What's your favorite part about being a dad? & If you could add one piece of content from OSRS to Alora, what would it be?

Sexy Woox: My favorite part about being a dad is getting to watch them grow over the years. Honestly, I don't have anything I would bring to Alora. I've been on such a hiatus from OSRS, all the new content they've received I've seen in Alora within days. :)

 

gim deathkid: What is most challenging about being an UIM? If you could change something about the game-mode, what would it be?

Sexy Woox: Most people would say not having a bank is the most difficult thing, but to be honest it keeps me from hoarding items I don't need. The most difficult thing for me was bossing with limited inventory space due to noted items, etc. Shorter trips meant some of my long grinds (1500 cerb, 2k kraken) took even longer with all the supply replenishing, along with Herblore. Training that skill on a UIM is absolute madness. I don't think I would change anything about UIM as it is.

 

gim deathkid: Do you plan on continuing streaming once Mixer shuts down? If so, do you have any goals set for your streaming career?

Sexy Woox: As of right now, my streaming career is in the air. I'm not sure if I will move back to Youtube since they've been kind of stingy with their streams as well. Whether or not I do continue to stream, my goals will be to continue shooting for a Twisted bow and then move on to the Theatre.

 

gim deathkid: If you could meet one person from the staff team, who would it be and why?

Sexy Woox: Mack. He's been one of my biggest supporters since I started streaming Alora content and I'm forever grateful for his support (sorry about the Bandos pet still)
