What is your suggestion?: Rework xp rates of aerial fishing cooking experience received, I'm not sure about all of the fish but from trying it out today I'm showing 28 cooking xp for Bluegill which are only 43 fishing while Common Tench are 56 fishing and give 10 xp, again I have boosts on but one is clearly giving more over the other

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: I didn't see it in the current suggestions post

How would this benefit Alora?: Align more with OSRS and just generally speaking of higher levels = more experience

If the xp rates are not right I think it should be @ bug reports. Either way if it's not alligned with OSRS I definitely support it.

@MT I also feel like i haven't seen many people with the angler outfit and it may bring more people to the activity if it doesn't feel like a hassle for 2% extra xp

Support! Xp should mimic OSRS so long as this isn't a bug it should be changed IMO

In aerial ishing, there are 4 types of fish you can catch: Blue gill, common trench, mottled eel, and greater siren (26, 92, 149, 229 fishing xp respectively).  Before deploying your bird, the fishing spots are indistinguishable, meaning you have 1/4 chance of catching each fish.  The higher tier fish require higher hunter to unlock and grant more xp.  For example, catching greater sirens requires 91 fishing and 87 hunter. 

 

The issue is that the type of fish caught cannot be controlled, making the activity both brain dead and terrible xp/hour.  Even with the highest requirements, your average xp per catch comes out to be just 124 fishing xp.  As a result, I believe that the best fix for aerial fishing involves making fishing spots distinguishable.  This should make aerial fishing more interesting by challenging players to click on greaten siren fishing spots for better xp per catch and better chance at obtaining molch pearls.

The experience rates are exactly as they are on OSRS, this is a small bug in which players get the cooking experience from the cutting a Blue gill that they should get from cutting a common tench and vice versa. This has been fixed in the update.
