Hello everyone, welcome to this month's edition of the Alora Newspaper.

 

As always, we hope everyone's had a great month and that all is well. We've been working hard on getting Runelite for Alora ready to go and couldn't be more excited to release it for everyone in the near future. See the news announcement below for more information or check out Lowkey's stream here showcasing some of our progress.

There haven't been any changes to the rules this month, but feel free to look them over for a refresher.

There have been quite a few changes to the staff team this month, you can see them below.

 

April 19th, 2020

Promotions:
Kharyrll has been promoted to Administrator.
gim deathkid has been promoted to Global Moderator.
Stone has been promoted to Server Moderator.
arcadus has been promoted to Server Support.

Name Changes/Secondary ranks:
gim deathkid has added a secondary rank to Aeroga.
Miya has added a secondary rank to Kevie.
Stone has added a secondary rank to River.
Fiji Drip has changed his name to Fiji.

Resignations:
God has resigned from Administrator.
Paine has resigned from Global Moderator.
Banks has resigned from Global Moderator.

Demotions:
Dante has been demoted from the team as Server Moderator.

 

April 5th 2020

Promotions:
TenFour has been promoted to Forum Moderator.
Miya has been promoted to Sever Moderator.
A BJ has been promoted to Server Moderator.

Name Changes/Secondary Ranks:
IM Moe has changed his name to Moe.
Iron Champie has changed his name to Champ.
Vape Tricks has added a secondary rank to 0ptimuscope.
A BJ has added a secondary rank to Joe Exotic.

 

Resignations
To gain has resigned from Global Moderator.
J boogs has resigned from Global Moderator.
Morgen has resigned from Forum Moderator.
GIM Flex has resigned from Server Moderator.
F has resigned from Server Support.

Let's start off with Mack...

 

gim deathkid: Do you derive sexual pleasure from declining forums suggestions?

Mack: Well, I'd being lying to you if I said I didn't get a little tingle of excitement. I'd say about 14% as excited as Code 002 when he gets a foot picture.

 

gim deathkid: What's one of your biggest pet peeves?

Mack: If I had to choose just one it would be lazy people or those that lack common sense. The two are an ever-growing trend and it's rather worrying to see what its impact will be on society.

 

gim deathkid: If you could trade lives with one person for an entire day, who would it be and why?

Mack: My girlfriend, so I'd know what it's like to lose an argument.

 

gim deathkid: What is it that you enjoy most about the Alora community?

Mack: The thing I enjoy most is definitely the friends and relationships I've made from being a part of the server and staff team. I've never been this engaged in an online community before or developed friendships to the extent that I have here on Alora. I'm a fairly reserved and private person but there's some friends I've made here that I'd enjoy meeting and spending time with IRL as well.

 

gim deathkid: What do you think about when you're alone in the car?

Mack: I don't drive very often anymore since moving to the city, but when I did I'd say I'd start over-analyzing my life decisions and future and before I knew it I'd be at my destination without even realizing it.

gim deathkid: Tell us a little about yourself.

Hellish: Well, I'm a final year medical student & have been on Alora for just under 3 years.

 

gim deathkid: What is your favorite thing to do IRL? Do you have a hobby?

Hellish: I don't remember life before the quarantine. I really enjoy being on clinic, reading, gaming & doing just about anything with friends.

 

gim deathkid: Describe Jay in 3 words.

Hellish: Rigged, bald & funny

 

gim deathkid: What are your thoughts on GIMs trading items?

Hellish: Ban @gim deathkid @Kaamea @buy gim tbow @Josh & whichever other sub-IQ individuals contributed to the downfall of the game mode.

 

gim deathkid: If you were to get rid of one state in the U.S., which would it be and why?

Hellish: I had to ponder this one as I'm not all that well-versed in the States, the answer would be Alabama & not only because Josh is from there, it just seems regressive in all aspects. A close runner-up would be New York State, simply to get rid of the cesspool that is NYC.

 

gim deathkid: You’ve been given an elephant. You can’t give it away or sell it. What would you do with the elephant?

Hellish: Although a genuine logistical nightmare, I'd totally be rolling up to clinic on the back of that thing. Maybe even get some war armour/paint for it. Do you reckon pimp-my-ride will deal with an elephant? Well, I guess it's not like they're able to say no, it's a f**king elephant.
