Hello fellow gamers,

Tonight, I will pitch a suggestion to add some items to the Vote Reward Shop. Feel free to leave comments about your opinions & ideas that may be considered to be added to said shop.

 

What are the main grinds of early ironmen? Whip, Trident, Blowpipe... Ranger boots!

But that's not the only clue scroll unique you'll need in your adventure. Flared Trousers are either considered the Holy Grail of easy clues or "That rare drop that could have been Rangers" from Lucky Impling. Adding the Trousers to the Vote Shop for a high price (600-800 points) would greatly benefit the server as ironmen without said pants would be more inclined to vote frequently and buy other's vote books to acquire this item; and they wouldn't be the first item in the Vote Shop required for a clue.

 

The Silver Sickle (i) is useful by two ways - the clue stop in Catherby & the collection of Fungi for the Mori diaries and Super Energy Potions. That being said, the Vote Shop is the only way to obtain the Sickle; thus making the Flared Trousers expensive to purchase from said store. The price of Flared Trousers wouldn't be impacted as the price of vote books to buy the pants would be way higher then just buy them from other players in the Trading Post, but it would also unlock an important clue item required for Master clues.

 

If the Vote Reward Shop seems too "OP" for Flared Trousers, as ironmen could buy votes from other players, it could be placed in the Daily Reward Shop, as we'd have to get lots of Daily Points to buy these disco icons - but in my opinion, Voting for the server would increase attention on all websites & would also benefit players in multiple ways!

 

I'd love to hear from the staff team about what they think of this idea & have feedback on how we could work something out.

Given the fact that the silver sickle is a clue item as well and is also gated by vote points and that outside of being a clue item the trousers are purely cosmetic, I don't see why this couldn't be added. I know a lot of ironmen who are currently having lots of trouble obtaining a pair so I'm sure it would prove to be a great source of votes for the server. Support!

No support.  I personally don't think flared trousers are not very difficult to obtain.

 

Master clue scrolls are meant to be a challenge.  It wouldn't be much of a challenge to just buy flared trousers with vote points.  If you're ironman, you need to go out and do clues or catch lucky implings for your own pair of trousers if you want to do master clues efficiently.  Keepin' it real.

I personally never struggled to get them, but I totally understand and its a complete cosmetic unlike rangers. SUPPORTTTT

Just because you got lucky on getting them, doesn't mean it's easy to obtain them.

You lock them behind votes just like the sickle you’re gonna have the same current problem with the sickle, it’s supposed to be a grind to get the trousers, as with the sickle, maybe add sickle to clue rewards and very slightly nerf the rate on these 2 items being obtained as a reward. Failing that if you’re too impatient drop the clue and get another one.

Or introduce a shared clue loot table have these 2 items on there.
