Little Rework to Zulrah

What is your suggestion?: 

- Lower Each Zulrah Phase

* Range Phase - 4-5 attacks before switch

* Magic Phase - 4-5 Attacks

*Melee Phase - 2 Attacks (Should be able to hide behind pillars to avoid any damage and attacks while still being able to attack Zulrah)

 

As of this moment these phases last a very long time and I would personally like to see them a little more like OSRS so there is a challenge as well as prayer switching experience with F Keys.

 

- Add Jad phase

*Will help with prayer switching for players. Since Jad phase is like Jad people will learn to switch back and forth efficiently in preparations for end game like Olm/Inferno

*Every attack switches from Mage/Range for a total of 8-10 attacks

 

-Add Range Defense to Range/Melee Phase

*In OSRS it is more efficient to use Trident/Toxic Trident while wearing optimal magic gear. This will help with switching gear faster for those wanting to learn end game content like Raids.

 

- Make Sanfew Serum work as intended

*3 Minutes of Venom Resistance (currently just get revenomed by the next few attacks after sipping)

*Completely cures Poison and Venom (Currently have to sip 2 doses to remove both)

*Anti-Poison kicks in after 3 minutes is up (Doesn't make immune to venom)

 

 

Is this in OSRS?: Yes this is all in OSRS

 

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: No it has not

 

How would this benefit Alora?:

 

PROS:

 

- Increased pr:ice of Zulrah Drops

- More Challenging

- Increases experience in Prayer Switching and Gear Switching which is a benefit to Raiders as well as Pkers

- Increase of Magic Gear such as Tridents/Ahrims/Ancestral Ect.

- A closer "Unique" feel to how Zulrah operates on OSRS

- Would become Mid game content in prep for End game content

 

CONS:

 

- Players would have to relearn Zulrah

- Ironmen such as EIM/GIM as well as Realism/Classic will have to grind a little stats/gear to gain the ability to kill efficiently (But could be done with mystics and trident if done right)

- May cause unstable prices at first

- Would take a bit more skill

I don't see a problem with adding these fixes/ additions to Zulrah, though I will say that Zulrah is one of those things that I feel like aren't in desperate need for a change right now.  It's been working just fine (imo) for the past year+ I've been playing.  Overall you have my support for this.

I don’t believe this will really do anything other than make the grind for Ironman even longer. I don’t believe it’ll change the price of the drops by all that much due to the abundance of the items. Just take a look @ tp and see how many people are selling blowpipes, serps, magic fangs. It’s unreal! I believe this would just make people who already have the drops avoid doing zulrah

It may or may not effect prices. It's more for a real feel as well as training your switches and F Keys for prayer. Once people learn more of this they will be even more successful at Pking as well as Raids.

Can see where you’re coming from in lining it up with OSRS but I think Zulrah is fine the way it is and isn’t something that should be anywhere near the top of the list on things to implement.

Personally right now Zulrah is not even a challenge. I find it pretty boring to just sit there with range prayer on the whole time while being able to just Blowpipe it to death without having to worry about all the mechanics it really has.

 

Implementing this suggestion would make Zulrah more fun and help out players in the long run.

How would it help at raids? You don’t pray switch at COX and at TOB you only have to switch at nylo which is every 5 hits..? And soteseg you can legit just keep your prayer page up. And if you want to make it just like osrs and make the grind even harder for players on a private server, what’s the point of playing a server lol

A lot of things on the server are too easy, I want a challenge here and there to make it more fun and interesting. As it is Zulrah is TOO easy IMO.

 

Yes it's a private server, but some things need to get a little harder to make them more fun. And with Cox being revamped in the future it could become viable.

 

Just because some like how brain dead some Bosses are doesn't mean all of us do.

I have done alot of zulrah and can for sure say it is pretty boring, i do find it pretty chill tho. This would definitely make the boss alot more fun and def harder. although this will not affect me at all as i already finished it, but you have my support anyway

Would be cool to make Zulrah a bit more challenging than it is currently, but not necessarily a priority at this time.

Support zulrah should be more challenging then it currently is and I think these would be some great starts to increasing the difficulty. Plus would be great for @Morgen muta grind.

Id like to see more difficulty in bosses since many of them are half afk atm, so i totally support this

Why complain about difficulty (or lack there of) when you can go play actual OSRS? The main reason most of us are here, rather than on OSRS, is for EZ-Scape.

It would still be easier than OSRS. But as it is now I could take in a level 60-70 with ibans staff and just stand in one spot. There is a good portion of Alora players who would like to see a little more challenge when it comes to bossing.

Personally think zulrah is fine as it is and the prices of each item are not worth making it harder imo this change will only make it harder for Ironmen. No support
