What is your suggestion?:

 

I think we need a slight buff in the ways we can acquire crystal shards since there are so few of them that it's really hard to be able to make divine potions for instance.

 

A good way to improve this matter is to add the option to plant a crystal acorn in the Prifddinas patch. The crystal tree can be planted in the patch in Prifddinas and once grown it can be harvested for 16 crystal shards.

 

I also suggest adding crystal acorn drop to the Zalcano drop table. This is not in OSRS, however it fits the Zalcano theme being a skilling boss and would be a much needed slight buff to Zalcano which is quite dead content at the moment.

 

Another alternative would be to just slightly buff the crystal shards amount you get from Zalcano drop (atm you only get 1-3 - this can be buffed to 1-5 - on OSRS it's 1-4 now with the recent changes), that way crystal acorn would only be obtainable from the chest like in osrs.

Would add another source of crystal shards, which is much needed as there is so little supply at the moment.

I support this suggestion.

If we buff zalcano for shards I feel we should also greatly buff the shards from corrupted gauntlet,  IMO completing gauntlet should provide more shards P/H than zalcano considering theres COMPED players on alora that cant even complete a single corrupted gauntlet whereas zalcano u can do with very low effort and stats.

Agreed, I'm not familiar with Gauntlet on Alora do didn't want to say anything about it, prob @Ironb0rn can provide more insight

I can confirm that acorns are in game as I have a few that I got from the crystal chest in Priff.

The patch does not work though.

 

For gauntlet, you can get about 30 shards per hour which is decent tbh

in 506 corrupt gauntlet ive average about 7 shards per gauntlet. 

a tip for gauntlet is to make basic legs, plate and helm, that means you need to find 1 of each of the resources and this saves time

I support the idea of crystal acorn being dropped from zalcano and being farmable.

support! I would love more ways tyo get crystal shards! as at the moment the only viable way is through gauntlet and I absolutely suck at it! or maybe my RNG is terrible, never the less i support!
