Dragon bolts are currently very difficult to obtain compared to dragon darts, javelin, and arrows.  I suggest making them more accessible by...

 

1. adding dragon bolts (unf) to dragon impling drops

2. increasing Vorkath's dragon bolt (unf) drop rate and quantity

 

Vorkath currently drops a lot of useless bolt tips that essentially aren't worth picking up.  The superior dragon bones are much more valuable as they can be used to make super antifire potions.  One way this could be addressed is by...

 

3. changing ruby bolt tip drops to ruby dragon bolts (and the same for the other gems tips).

4. adding dragon bolts to pkp store (thanks to gain!)

Dropping the unf variant is a good idea, not th bactual completed bolt it's self however.

The only place i can see Dragon bolts (unf) as a good addition is the PKP store, as they are bis for pking.

 

Other then that a slight buff in droprate might be reasonable but adding them to the dragon impling table is a no from me.

I agree with @To gain. Dragon implings are already OVERPOWERED, so no need to add anything else to their table. Really like the idea of having the unfinished bolts in PKP tho.

Game suggestions are meant to improve game quality of life for the entire community, and the last thing I'd want to do is make vorkath not worth doing.  So I see where you're coming from.  If you have 100k dragon bolts on the trading post, it makes sense why you'd oppose this suggestion.  However, I urge you to consider what's best for the entire community.  Would dragon bolts make the game more conducive to new players?  Would it unlock game content?  Would it make Alora better?  Would it make Alora great again?  REEEE

Your talking like people dont have access to dragon bolts but they do. If they are willing to pay the right price. Dragon bolts too expensive for you? Then just stick to rune its not like your gonna miss out on a shitload of dps.

I have to side with @Extremedanny on this one. They are well accessible through vorkath..
so I see no reason to make everything easier because other items are "more worth".

Just grind the unf. bolts out @ vork and decide whether you want the bolts or the bones.

Should be added somewhere else, price is crazy high on the bolts. Even grinding vorkath I hardly ever got the unf drop. I support but don't really mind how they're added. There was a previous suggestion to add them to pkp shop which would also work but I agree either way that needs to be more coming into the game somehow, support

Do explain how they are well accessible through Vorkath.  I grind Vorkath with the dragon hunter crossbow, and I barely even get enough dragon bolts unf to cover the bolts I use to kill Vorkath.  When I do get a lucky dragon bolt unf drop, I save them for olm and hydra, where I need to painstakingly, manually pick up the bolts that get scattered all across the rooms because dragon bolts are simply not accessible enough.  Now you might suggest that I just "buy more" and that's completely valid, but think about what's better for the entire community.  Take a step back and think about the situation at its core.  Would a new player prefer to play, contribute, and donate to server where they need to struggle to obtain dragon bolts or a server where they're available in the PKP store for like 2 PKP each?  Let's not forget why dragon bolts are key items.  They're what separate top tier crossbows like the ACB and dragon crossbow from the runite crossbow.  I really hope you can see past your bank value and support what's best for the entire community.  Keeping it REAL.  Peace out.

I literally did 3 kills 2 days ago and had 2 times the bolt drop. The fact that you would like to use it in multiple places really doesnt justify the suggestions for me.. i mean all good if you see it differently. 

Regarding the "new player": dragon bolts aren't starter / med level bolts so that is also a non-argument in my opinion. Also what's next? Making other "end-game" items available because they are on other servers? no thanks.

I support 100%, vorkath isn't a viable method for getting a solid amount of bolts in my experience

Players with dragon hunter crossbows use dragon bolts outside the wilderness at places like Olm.  Every Olm kill takes 20+ dragon bolts.  How is increasing the number of dragon bolts players receive from killing Vorkath going to make things worse?  It should only make things better.  It means you don't need to do as much Vorkath to use your ACB, DHCB, or DCB at full capacity.  If players could get ahold of more dragon bolts, they would have more reason to use ACB and other top tier crossbows in the first place.  Furthermore, the goal here isn't to reduce the price of the bolts.  For ironmen and realism players there isn't even a market for dragon bolts.  We couldn't buy dragon bolts even if we wanted to.  Besides, players in the wilderness are already using dragon bolts.  Making it easier for other players to use dragon bolts only improves game quality of life.  Do you really have a problem with players using dragon bolts on slayer tasks?  In OSRS, dragon bolts are about half the price of dragon arrows (1000ea).  In Alora, dragon bolts over a hundred times as scarce as dragon arrows.
