Hey guys I was looking on some advice on how to handle triple jads in the inferno. I managed to reach them yesterday for the first time and I thought they wouldn't be that different from single jad as everyone says that its the same as prayer flicking one jad.

  • Can someone explain the attack cycles of triple jad ?
  • When do I change prayers ? i.e. when the jad does his attack animation or when the projectile is visible
  • Any general advice on them ?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

you can check topic 31432 for an inferno guide, it depends on you are looking at the jads,  you should start the wave near the (leave portal) and it should start with left jad then middle then right, you switch after an attack is connected with you. Keep auto retaliate on and try to hold your nerves

I have seen guides but they do not really answer my questions. Thanks for reply, when u mean an attack is connected to me, u mean when jad either stomps his feet or lifts up his head ?

Switch prayers as soon as you see the attack animation. You can skip to 1:38:51 on the video below to see how it works (not sped up). He attacks the West Jad first, after this point the only thing you should be clicking until the first Jad falls is your protection prayers. So watch the Jad rotations (West, North, East, repeat) and switch prayers accordingly as soon as the attack animations trigger. Triple Jads is easy, it's more so about keeping your cool and not panic switching prayers. Good luck.

Fox nailed it,

When they spawn they attack starting with the west jad, then northern, then east. As SOON as one stomps, you pray range. As SOON as the jad lifts his front feet, you pray mage.

I don't have any general advice other than practice, practice, practice. Once you learn it, it becomes very easy. It can difficult starting out, but getting an infernal cape isn't meant to be a cake walk :)

goodluck!

To be completely honest, the triple jad is probably the easiest part. Like they stated above, just focus on one jad till his attack is over then make sure to switch to the next jad's attack as soon as it starts the animation. Other than that you should be able to get the hang of it somewhat quickly! Best of luck.

I explain every wave in-depth in my guide here: https://www.alora.io...-inferno-guide/

There's not much info on the triple Jad wave because there's not much to explain really. You just have to flick them and kill one at a time. Most people just psych themselves out.

Tbh when you're fighting jads (triple or single) the biggest thing is not to panic. The range and mage attack are similar because jad gets on his hind legs both attacks but you must be patient and trust that you'll distinguish which one it is, it's better to be a lil more patient then rush a prayer switch. The way I make jads very easy for myself is to look for the next attack opposite of what you're praying. To make more sense: if the first attack is a stomp you pray range, only react when you see the next jad holding itself on it's hind legs and switch your prayer to mage ASAP. If the next jad attack is holdingitself on it's hind legs DON'T TOUCH YOUR PRAYERS and keep looking for the opposite attack, ive had jad attack with the same style 5 times in a row but really just trust yourself to switch when the next attack is opposite of what you're praying. It sounds redundant but the key is to only allow yourself to switch prayers when you see the opposite attack. It's impossible to switch your prayer too quickly if you observe the correct attack and switch to the correct prayer. The only difference between one and three jads is that it's faster. Hope this helps.

Be patient it'll take you a bunch of runs to really get the hang of what's happening. I didn't get inferno til my 11th run.

Triple Jads attack Clock wise, starting from the west. Whatever prayer you have on right as theyre spawning (most likely magic), will be the first attack. Then you look at the middle one for the next attack, then the one to the right, and repeat. Turn on auto retaliation if youre afraid you won't be able to click attack and switch prayer. Just let your player attack 1 jad at a time, and focus on looking to the next Jad's attack.

As far as switching prayer goes, Alora prayer switching isn't as lenient as OSRS. You need to switch prayer as soon as you see the stomp(range), or lift(magic).

Good Luck.
