This is how you can force your Skype to use a proxy. Doing so will make all Skype resolvers return the proxy i.p, and not your actual I.P.

Technique 1

Technique 2

Step 1:

Close down your skype.

Step 2:

Go to: http://hidemyass.com/proxy-list/

Step3:

Apply these settings, but change the location to the nearest to you.

Example:

Step 4:

Pick an I.P and Port, and write them down. Then to go: https://dl.dropboxus...itch/skype.html

Example:

Step 5:

Select SOCKS5 and fill in the ip/port. Then click download.

Example:

Step 6:

Right click the file you have just downloaded, and select "Merge".

Example:

Then reboot your pc, and after 12-24 hours, your Skype should then be using that proxy, and Skype resolvers won't be able to get your I.P Address.

Note: You can go back to the link and Re-Create a new Registry File (key) for a new Proxy and Port at any time you wish!

Skype resolvers have not worked in like a year and a half, all the IPs that are found now using resolvers are from their old database. So basically if you have a new IP in the last year, you are fine.
