So far Alora's client has added a lot of great quality of life features that you often see in third party client plugins from Runelite or OSBuddy, and I know Alora is running on a different version of OS, but I would really appreciate if we could add the Draw Distance option to the settings list so that users can extend their draw distance while using HD. Since the HD setting is already implemented, it may not be very difficult to expose a 'draw distance' variable so that the user can set it higher than normal.

When Runelite added OpenGL support they exposed the draw distance option so that the user could set it, you can find the specific commit here: https://github.com/r...9fa0e336ad72b8a

One argument against this is that the current default draw distance for the HD option is already set at a fair distance, but the best counter argument I can come up with for approving this suggestion is that it wouldn't take much work to expose the draw distance variable as an option, and would significantly increase the quality of the HD version.

For simplicity sake and for continuity with the existing settings list, make it a toggle like the other options, call it 'Extend Draw Distance (HD Only)' and when turned on it would change the HD draw distance to 1.5x to 2x the current default value, whatever you think is appropriate number-wise.

Thank you for your consideration.

Your suggestion has been accepted.

You can install the 117 HD plugin from plugin hub for this accessibility.
