I was very into deadman mode and the whole idea of grinding out pvm but also be able to pvp anywhere anytime. What if we make a new gamemode that will  either have solo ironman or maybe a duo ironman that will be able to work together to grind out gear just like an elite ironman but anyone who plays this mode will be able to pvp anywhere but banks and other safe locations. I feel like Alora is a strong community but the wildy is pretty dead and this game mode will be but fun but also challenging to those who try it.

XP rates - x5 ( RS XP ) 

Solo fighting (No mult pking) 

10 or 15 second protection after killing another player.

Pking will give you pkp just like wildy pking. 

Bossing rooms are safe ( this is so people dont get joked for a big drop ) 

 

 

 

What do you guys think? Im sorry if I am not giving good detail just really thought this up fast and was hoping to see what the community thinks. I love the Alora community and how fun and experimental you all are!

I'm sure a lot of us enjoy the Oldschool Runescape concept about Deadman Mode. The whole idea of the Deadman Mode is to provide new worlds for people to where its pvp everywhere and everybody can attack eachother which would have three main problems on Alora.

 

1. Making a new world that only has the "Deadman mode" would split up Alora.

 

2. Allowing the particular gamemode to only attack each other would make a huge mess.

 

3. Staff would have a harder time, unfortunately I can't go more into detail.

 

This idea has been brought up several times now and so far no one has been able to come up with a solution that could benefit Alora. I'm sure this could be a lot of fun but I honestly don't see this concept ever being Implemented simply cause it would have more downs than ups.

I really like the deadman mode suggestion. However I will remain neutral due to we have so many game modes now and at the moment there are other priorities that has to be updated / patched.

I agree with this 100%. But we could just use a new tele to a differnt edgville just like pvp edge and have everything just like the normal game. I think it is possible but still i wouldnt know if it still will be a huge problem. i just want some pvp action in Alora and I see a lot of others saying the same. i hope this could be some what of a way around all the extra work. But also I feel like it will benefit Alora for the change in pace.

I really like the deadman mode suggestion. However I will remain neutral due to we have so many game modes now and at the moment there are other priorities that has to be updated / patched.

I feel you on this as well there is a lot of game modes out but all of them are PvM only based and we really need test new things. I do still agree we have so many game modes and there has to be a limit but I feel like we should see how a PvP game mode would work.

Pretty sure it was also suggested awhile back, maybe even in 2018. The thought of splitting the game up into the two different worlds highly hinders in the shadows.
there is still ;;edgepvp   which I thought about making an Edgepvp only account, when then I came to discover... well not much I can do, no TP wizard, no thieving, would have to bounce between edgepvp for bank, and Wests. I'll stick to my realism account.

If it could be done on the same world as the existing game modes and only the accounts playing this mode could be attacked it would be cool.  That being said, I don't see this ever coming to Alora.

It's a cool concept but i don't see it being feasible at the current time. I haven't seen any servers be successful whenever they have had it as a feature neutral.

I personally feel that this would be a mode that would work if it was made into one month "seasons" spread the accounts amongst us normies and ironmemes but they could attack eachother. make it a twisted league deadman mode ironmeme hybrid. Even a super hybrid between TL and HCIM. Both pvpers and pvmers would benefit from it if it was made into a contest of some sort.

The only problem I have with this is how the game mode would make it to where they could only attack other deadman mode players. I feel like if this was implemented into the game then there would be a few glitches so they could attack normal players or hardcores. Sorry don’t like the idea.
