Hello everyone,
Before we get into it, we're hosting some awesome events later today, make sure to read the full details here!
https://www.alora.io...-and-giveaways/
In just a few hours, it will officially be 3 years since Alora opened its doors to the public! It has been an exciting 3 years since we turned this idea into a reality, with many ups and downs along the way. I can still proudly say today that our community is hands-down the best of any RSPS, past and present. At the end of the day, you guys are the ones who make Alora what it is: the best place to spend your time with friends, to have fun, and to make new friends. Sure, we try our best to make things more enjoyable by keeping up with the latest content updates, and we can't forget our incredible staff team which makes this whole thing run smoothly without a hitch. Ultimately though, we wouldn't be anywhere without the community, so we'd like to thank every single one of you for sticking around with us, whether you just joined a month ago or have been here since November 4th, 2016. No matter the situation, we've always persevered through it and came out stronger because of you guys. It's been a blast having embarked on this journey with you guys 3 years ago, and I'm looking forward to many more great years to come!
Make sure to pick up a Birthday cake from Party Pete ate home to carry around during the celebrations!
Here are a few other changes we've included this update:
- Completionist monkey changes:
- The Completionist monkey is the highest symbol of accomplishment on Alora, signifying a player's achievement of 4.6b total experience (200m in every singe skill) on top of the requirements for the regular Monkey.
- This monkey will be worn by very few (As of today, only 8 players qualify) but will surely not go unnoticed when a player is wearing it.
- The 'cape' is similar to the standard monkey, though the monkey is gold-trimmed.
- The cost to purchase the cape from Mac in Edgeville is 25M, and 2.5m too reclaim if lost on death.
- As of now, the stats on the cape and it's functions (teleport functions) are the same as the regular Monkey. It is mostly intended to be a symbol of accomplishment, without introducing higher bonuses.
