[Elder druid]

The brimstone ring is a four piece contained layered item received from the Alchemical hydra boss (Req 95 slayer to kill)

 

This is an highly usefull ring when it comes to hybridding or pvm features/situation!  the ring itselfs has all the stats of the unimbued versions of the dk's bosses rings combined. 

 

The ring has an special effect which negates 10% of your opp. magic defence.

 

I tested the brimstone ring in pvm as in pk'in but the special effect doesn't work at all can we get this fixed and put under attention would be a good addition to alora's community

Normally an red text would appear or an ingame message or an announcement like fe your bracelet of slaughter has 30 charges remaining! 

 

Here it does nothing at all. in all cases pvm/pk'in it seems

I don't know much about brimstone rings, but if what you're saying is correct, I support!

If the brimstone ring does not have the passive effect in-game, then I would not mind having it added as it is in OSRS already. Support.

I think the text is something along the lines of "Your ring allows you to ignore 10% of the targets mage defence" 

 

Support if it's not ingame already.

I was under the impression that the ring's passive effect was coded, just not the text. But if not, then sure I'd like to see this added to the game.

Kinda felt sorry for you when you were getting armadyl helm drops, but after seeing your signature i no longer do so

Not all items are supposed to announce their effects in the chat box. The Brimstone ring has a passive effect that is always on when equipped, so there would be no point in announcing it. The ring, however, is working as intended.
