What is your suggestion?: Either remove prospector from mlm shop and players who obtained it from mlm shop today or allow people who purchased it from daily shop to get a refund of their daily shop points.

Is this in OSRS?: Not applicable

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: Not applicable

How would this benefit Alora?: I personally spent like 40-60 hours doing dailies to get my own set of prospector to gain the exp boost to help with the 200m mining grind, today we had an update that allows it to be purchased from the mlm shop by using golden nuggets which takes 3-5 hours. This update devalues every single person that grinded dozens of hours to get the set by doing dailies every day for weeks and sometimes months.  This suggestion is going to get a lot of backlash from people who obtained their sets from mlm but I want you to ask yourself how you would feel if you spent 50 hours doing dailies to get the set and then someone gets it in 2-3 hours following an update.

I can relate with this as well. I've recently just been spending/saving my points to complete my set, which I only have the top to obtain I think as of now, 375/500 points. This has taken me give or take a few months to be where I'm at now, doing tasks here and there. If intentions are to keep it as is, I'd recommend increasing the amount of either nuggets it takes to purchase the pieces of the set or, making it harder to obtain nuggets, therefore it takes more time to grind for the set. @Konar, you have my Support! Defiantly would like to see the outcome of this suggestion :)

yea is kinda unfair the grind you have to do and the time it took for people to get the set and now is so "easy" to get with mlm

I would say refund 50% of the set price for those who have bought it at the daily shop. You had the set, you took some advantage of it, but you can’t expect the full price refund if you ask me. Another thing is the way of obtaining a MLM shop is the way how you should get it just like OSRS,

So no support on the MLM shop removal, but I remain neutral to slightly support on the refund, unless when it’s 100% refund.

Yeah I can see where you're coming from, even a 50% refund would be cool with me since as you stated I did get some extra exp

I agree with @iron aritus that a 50% refund on daily points spent on the set seems reasonable. I can imagine how much of a grind it is to grind daily points, and with MLM being added, it devalues the grind that other players put into completing daily tasks for the set as it takes much less time to grind MLM for the same set.

A 50% refund sounds reasonable. My only thought is how hard is it going to be to determine who bought the set from task shop and who didn't. Is that something that they can track to determine who would get a refund?

I'm with Aritus on this one in the sense that you shouldn't be entitled to a full refund, due to the fact that you have already taken advantage of some of the uses of the set and that something about this should be done. However I don't agree that the MLM shop should be removed at all.

You have my support on the refund section of your suggestion.

You do not have my support on the removal of the MLM shop section of your suggestion.

Agree. Even if it's just a 50% refund like Artius stated, that's fair enough I suppose.
