This will be a short guide on how to use theGIM Removal Ticket.
I recently had the pleasure to experience kicking a group member; afraid to screw something up I searched for a guide, but to no avail - thus I'm making one!
Follow the process below and you can feel safe the day you have to kick someone.

2nd March 2019:
Spoiler
Hotfixes (4/3/19):
GIM removal ticket changes:
Purchasing GIM removal tickets has been fixed for ironman.
Kicking yourself:
You can now kick yourself from your group without having to vote on it / have other team mates vote on it. You will be instantly kicked upon using the ticket and typing in your own name.
This can be done with any group size (even 1 or 2 player groups), but if you want to vote on another player you must still have at least a 3-player group.
(...) we’ve implemented the Group Ironman removal tickets which will allow players to vote on kicking players from their group. The full details are below:
Group Ironman Removal tickets:
Due to popular request, we've decided to add a way for ironman groups to vote to remove players from their team.
Here's how it works:
1. A Group Removal ticket is required, which can be purchased from the store for 350 tokens. Any player in the group can use it, and this will initiate a vote in the group to kick a player out.
2. At this point, any online players will be asked if they would like to kick the selected player. For the next 48 hours, team members will be reminded that they need to vote on login.
3. The majority of the team must vote yes to kick the selected player. See the table below for the required amount of votes:
5-man team: 3 players required
4-man team: 2 players required
3-man team: 2 players required
Any lower: duos and solo group ironman teams cannot use these tickets.
4. If the requirement is met within 48 hours, the player will be kicked from the team. If the requirement is not met, the vote will fail and another one can be re-initiated with a new ticket.
Notes:
Only 1 vote can be ongoing at any given moment, so if you'd like to kick 2 players, you need to wait until the current vote is concluded. This can take minutes if all players are online, or it could take 24+ hours to wait until the required # of votes is met.
If the vote fails, and the majority of the players in the group do not want to kick the player being voted on, you will still lose your ticket.
A group can only vote to kick a player once every 7 days, unless the current vote fails, in which case they can immediately kick another player.
The ticket is tradable (between group members), but normal accounts can transfer the ticket over by using it on a GIM player.
Group Ironman de-ironing now de-irons you to the Normal game mode (you will no longer be an Ironman).
Game updates:
Group Ironman changes:
GIM De-ironing:
Group Ironmen can now de-iron as long as they are NOT currently in an Ironman group. If they are, they must first kick themselves from the group (or be kicked) using a GIM Removal ticket.
Upon de-ironing, you will become a regular ironman. You can then de-iron once more to become a regular player.
WARNING: This action is permanent. We will not re-iron players under any circumstance.
GIM Removal Ticket price reduction:
The GIM Removal tickets have been reduced from 350 tokens to 250 tokens to make them more accessible.
You can leave a group by using the ticket on yourself.
No vote is initiated for this kick. -->
In order to kick a player your team must have at least 3 members.
A Group Ironman can de-iron (weak) if he isn't currently in any group.
This means that you must leave your current group with a GIM Removal Ticket. --> weak
When the vote is initiated the group members has 48 Hours to vote. If an insufficient amount of players vote, the player wont be kicked. duh.
Only one vote can be active at a time.
Step 0:
Purchasing the ticket
The ticket can be transferred from a non-GIM account by using it on another player, just like a bond.
This means that you can purchase it from another player if you aren't able to pay for it yourself. #MomsCreditCard
Here's where to find it: Select the "General" section
Scroll down until you reach the ticket and add it to your cart.
Once you've purchased it you can claim it in-game.
This is what the GIM Removal Ticket looks like
Step 1: Kicking the player
Spoiler
When you choose 'Kick-player' you get to type in the name of the player you wish to kick. Don't misspell the name.
Once you've entered the name of the player the chat dialogue warns you: When you click "Yes, vote to kick [player name]" the ticket will be consumed - and the ticket is non-refundable.
This action is irreversible.
The vote has been initiated.
From the perspective of another group member:
Step 2: Voting
Spoiler
Even if you're the player using the ticket, you'll still need to vote. Simply click on the Group Ironman Orb to open this interface:
You can't "take back" a vote.
Once you click on "Yes, kick [Player name] from group." that action can't be undone.
Once a sufficient amount of group members has voted, a Broadcast message will announce that the player has been kicked.
Required amount of votes listed below:
Spoiler
5-man team: 3 players required
4-man team: 2 players required
3-man team: 2 players required
Any lower: duos and solo group ironman teams must use the tickets on themselves.
Step 3: Inviting
Spoiler
Now your Group Orb Interface has a vacant spot, allowing you to invite a new Group Ironman.
This person must be a solo player. Note that being a single person in an established group, doesn't count as solo.
The invite button opens a chat-dialogue where you enter the name of the player you wish to invite. Don't misspell.
They must not be in combat or in wilderness.
The player you invite will receive a notification that they have been invited to your group.
A quick, easy, and simple guide on how to purchase and use GIM removal tickets (with images)! Will definitely refer GIMs to this guide if they wish to leave their groups.
A seemingly simple subject from outside perspective, described in-depth and presented beautifully. Really great guide especially for a topic that a few may struggle to wrap their head around. Awesome work, keep it up.
