[QoL] Automatically sort Trading Post offers from Low > High

What is your suggestion?: When using the Trading Post, have orders sorted by ascending price by default. 

 

Is this in OSRS?: I am not sure. 

 

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: I couldn't find it in Topic 22229. (That post could benefit from an update.)

 

How would this benefit Alora?: Every player wants to buy their items at the lowest price available. If I'm not mistaken, the Trading Post currently lists offers by the order that they're placed, and in order to sort Low > High you have to click the tiny orange arrow by the word "Price" two times.

I’m Neutral on this suggestion. It’d be a nice QOL update but I can imagine people just constantly dropping the price by 1 gp to stay on top.

If I recall correctly, the listings are primarily set by online sellers.

Huge support. 

 

If this doesn't pass, because Omicron just added in online -> offline, I wouldn't mind it being sorted as: online low -> high -> offline low -> high. 

This would be similar to the clan chat right now (ranked a-z -> unranked a-z).

I mean that doesn't really make a difference in this case - you can already do that. (Assuming the buyer has the TP sorting by ascending price) And if a person is constantly lowering the price on something, it means it's not in high demand/not selling so the price should be dropping anyways. 

 

@Moral truth - Assuming there's an online seller for a given item, otherwise it would be sorted by the sequence the orders were placed, would it not?

 

@Blackpoiint - Placing lowest online orders first as well would be a plus too, but I would assume online players would be placing their orders in below the current lowest offer anyways. (Purely speculation however)
