What is your suggestion?:  Allowing us access to a shop where we are able to purchase hop seeds for our birdhouse runs 

Is this in OSRS?:  Yes there are multiple shops in Old School to purchase hop seeds such as Amelia in the farming guild, Verona in Draynor Village and more. 

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: Has not been suggested yet. 

How would this benefit Alora?: Would benefit those who choose to do birdhouse runs. At the moment as far as i'm aware the only way to get hop seeds primarily is from farming contracts, I completed 5 today and got 13 hop seeds. Allowing me to make use of one bird house.

I support this suggestion, we could even just lower the requirement for seeds in general to like 2-3?

 

 

The current state of costing 10 seeds is pretty rough to get from farming contracts.

If ironmen are able to purchase those seeds in OSRS, then I don’t see any harm done to implement the same thing on Alora. Support.

I support a way to get the seeds easier, the only "good" way to get them at a reasonable rate atm is contracts and you could still do a ton of contracts and only get a few.

Can we not make the game any easier than it already is. Birdhouses actually make it worth doing farming contracts. Making hop seeds buyable would kinda make the farming contracts useless, since the seeds you get from those aren't that great most of the time. If you can't get yourself to collect seeds, the ironman gamemode is not for you. No Support from me because of that.

I'm plenty capable of collecting my own seeds and doing contracts, but when i'm just not getting seeds from contracts there's no other source for them. Hopefully wording this a little differently gave you a different insight.

Consider that you aren't restricted to using hop seeds, you can use any herb seeds as well. All easy to obtain in decent numbers. Instead of making those hop seeds buyable, buffing contracts might be the better solution here. There are many herb seeds you probally won't ever plant again after you got the farming lvl for the next seed. I agree that there are no decent ways to collect hop seeds as it stands but I still don't think the option to buy them is the right solution here.

That said I don't think making them buyable would hurt the game in any way, I just feel like it is not needed.

I would 110% LOVE if this came to the server! I really like the new update of the birdhouses but getting the seeds feels like such a redundant and over the top chore.
