^{Can there be a total level section of the tourney with rewards aswell? maybe just ingame tokens or bonds, i would love to see that as i know not many people enjoy or are good at pking myself included. I believe Runescape called it King of The Skill}

I'm not a fan of the increased drop rate.  What's to prevent people using this and donor boosts to flood the game with items?

I very much support this, however I don't mind too much. I'm hoping that my playing efficiently to get better stats and gear will make up for my shoddy PKing skills. Also, Alora does do the odd "King of the Skill" event, you missed one last week.

Realism can't trade with non-realism players.

And classic players couldn't trade with non classics. Until they could. And what's to stop people from killing their realism mode characters in the wildy to get the items and flood the market. End game will be way easier for realism mode

We've made some changes and updated the original post:

 

June 4th Changes:

• Drop rate boost removed:
  • After receiving feedback from players, the drop rate boost was unnecessary for a realistic game mode, and posed a risk of increased item flow to the normal game economy (through killing Realism players) which is not necessary. Thus, we've removed this boost.
• Launch time change:
  • We've decided to make the release time earlier, it will still be this Friday (7th of June), but will be at 12pm (noon) EST rather than 6pm. This is 4pm server time!
    • This will give participants the full weekend to level up and get a good start on the competition.
• Clarification on in-game restrictions:
  • Bloody keys and Wilderness supply chests (also being released this Friday) will initially be unavailable to Realism players for the tournament. This will be polled after the tournament.

Im not against the idea of a tournament and even a new game mode, but its so similar to classic (with more challenging xp rates) it will not last very long at all.

 

I was against 15% drop boost, but maybe make it like 5-10%? like maybe 8%?

 

I'm not a fan of this new game mode at all, I believe there should of been at least a poll for this release.
