Introduction
Thieving is a skill allows you to steal items from NPCs and stalls in return for, sometimes, items of value and experience. As you advance in the skill, more NPCs and stalls become available to steal from and the loot and experience is also increased.
Pickpocketing
The simplest form of Thieving is pickpocketing. It is available from level 1 and very straightforward and easy to get the hang of.
To pickpocket an NPC, you simply right click on them, and select the 'Pickpocket' option. You will then reach out and attempt to get hold of the contents of their pockets. You will obtain a random item from their list of dropable objects and receive the allotted experience.

Stalls
Ali Morrisane leaves his goods out on display on his stalls without paying much attention as if waiting for someone to come along and steal them. Thieving from a stall is similar to pickpocketing, where you can attempt to steal items from a particular stall and making off with some of the items.
To steal from a stall, simply position yourself beside the stall and select the 'steal-From' option. Once you theive from a stall, you will get one of potentially many items that could be on the stall, and receive experience.

Ali Morrisane / Thieving Shop
Items thieved from the stalls can be sold to Ali Morrisane for a decent amount of gold. Ali Morrisane can be found walking around the Thieving stalls.
Extra Features
Well Of Goodwill
The Well Of Goodwill is an object in the game that, when filled, grants a global experience boost of 30% to everyone online.
Vote Book
Obtained through voting, redeeming this book grants you 50% experience boost for an hour, if you have Two-Factor Authentication activated on the specific account.
Ardougne Cloak 4
Wearing the Ardougne cloak 4 will grant you an extra 15% experience when Thieving. This can be bought from the Achievement Store for 200 Achievement Points.
Thieving Pet / Rocky
Rocky is a skilling pet that can be obtained while training Thieving. The chances of getting it are dependent on the player's Thieving level.

HiScores
As of 01/12/2018, there are currently 11,790 players who have level 99 in Thieving. 31 out of those having 200M experience in Thieving as well.
Skill Mastery
When you have reached level 99 in the Thieving skill, you can purchase the Thieving skill cape and hood for 100,000 coins from the Wise Old Man, who is located in the small house North-West of Edgeville.
If Thieving was your first skill to reach 99, you will be given an untrimmed Thieving cape, but if any of your other skills are at 99, you will be given a Thieving cape (t).
