Before I start, I'm going to explicitly state that I HAVE not done this. 

I'm a CS major, studying to be an software engineer. 

Okay so, when the options are opened via ingame, and you have the option

to disable or enable overlays for ground items : "ground-item overlays". I think that the font of drops should be made smaller. There also should be an option to adjust the color, I know the color one is a bit off, but if anything the size is too large. 

I think the RuneLite and OSBuddy application of overlays should be adopted , with or without the customization aspect. I've included a screenshot of how it looks when having a large client size. With a default client size, it is almost unplayable. When fighting monsters that are repetively killed, such as lizardman shamans, this is extremely annoying, but still necessary. 

Missing out on a drop sucks , so I keep this on no matter what now. 

It honestly would not be hard to implement. A smaller font size perhaps?

Can confirm what chuck said. He did say he would look into it, this was a few months ago so it should hopefully be seen soon. I assume he has been working on that huge update we just got last weekend.

Main reason my ground item overlays are off.

Takes up the whole screen sometimes
