Hello everyone!
With the influx of new players coming on as well as many players starting an ironman for the first time and the array of ironman guides out there, I am going to combine all of the guides out there for ironman to hopefully make this THE guide for ironmen.

Starting Off
You should start off by doing ;;2fa in-game or going HERE to set up your 2-Factor Authentication. This not only makes your account more secure, but also when redeeming vote books you will have 60 minutes of bonus experience toward all non-combat skills.
Armour
Melee Armour Your first set of armour will be the ironman specific armour Type ;;shops, in-game and speak to Paul about your armour, he will give you a set of colored armour that matches your game mode IE. Grey for Normal IM, Blue for GIM, Red for HCIM, Orange for EIM, and White for UIM Mining and Smithing your own armour is the easiest way to get Iron-Adamant armour Rune armour can most easily be obtained through barrows Going to ;;pc to do the Pest Control Mini-game, you can get the Elite Void set Ranged Armour Killing cows at the crafting guild (under the Skilling Tab) and taking the hides to the crafting guild master will grant you leather Using Paul's Ironman shop, you can purchase string and a needle to create your first set of Ranged Armour Ava's Accumulator can be purchased from the Vote Shop for 30 points or Pest Control for 10 points Mage Armour Upstairs in the Monastery, you can acquire some monk robes In the Wise Old Man's Hut, north of the house portal, there is a Blue Wizard hat spawn on the table Wizard Robes can be obtained by killing Wizards at the Wizard Tower (1/30) Additionally, doing the Mage Arena Mini-game will give you a chance at getting Infinity as well as wands The Tome of Fire can be purchased from the Achievement Store
Weapons
Melee Weapons Your starter kit will come with an Iron Scimitar Mining and Smithing will be your best bet to get Steel-Mithril You can buy a slayer staff from the Slayer Master located outside the normal shops, you can equip it at level 1 and it has the same stats as a Rune Scimitar At 80 thieving, you can thieve an Adamant Scimitar A Rune Scimitar can be had from Ninja Implings in Puro Puro (1/30) and Fire Giants in the Kourend Catacombs (1/128) Range Weapons Woodcutting and Fletching will be the easiest way to get Normal-Magic bows Arrows will be most easily obtained through fletching and smithing Bolts will be obtained through doing barrows. Rune and Adamant bolts come in mass quantities through this Magic Weapons Staff of Air can be obtained from the Thief outside the Varrock Pub (1/30) Staff of Fire can be obtained from Pyrefiends in the Fremennik Slayer Dungeon (1/30) Staff of Water can be obtained from Waterfiends at the Kraken Boss teleport (1/30)

They drop Unicorn horns, then use on a Pestle and mortar Venenatis also drops 100x noted Unicorn horns (1/30) Limpwurt Root Vet'ion commonly drops 50 x noted Limpwurt roots . He can be located at Boss teleports (Wilderness). Kurask commonly drop anywhere between 10-20 noted Limpwurt root. They are located in Fremmy dungeon. Red Spiders' Eggs Venenatis drops 500 x noted Red spiders' eggs. You can also pick them up from around him if your combat level is not high enough to kill him. He can be located at Boss teleports (Wilderness). Chocolate Dust You can steal Chocolate bars from the Bakery stall in Ardougne City. Use the Chocolate bar with a Pestle and mortar to get Chocolate dust . White Berries Corporeal Beast drops 120 x noted White berries (1/30) Kurasks drop 12 x noted White berries (1/15) Lava dragons is the fastest way to obtain White berries. Take a looting bag with you. Wield an Antifire shield and some dragonhide armor and you will take minimal damage. Moral truth's Glassblowing Guide Battlestaff The easiest way to obtain bulk Battlestaves is to simply thieve them from the Magic stall at ;;thieve (60 Thieving required) But if you wish to obtain them via PVM the following monsters drop noted Battlestaves: - Revenants (5 noted) - Kraken (10 noted) - Skotizo (25 noted) - Zulrah (10 noted) - Skeletal Wyvern (10 noted) The rate is 1/32 for all except Skotizo, whos rate is 1/16. Gold bar Garygoyle (10 noted, 1/15) Gold Ore Gaygoyle (1 noted, 1/15) If you wish to mine Gold ore the best spot is the Crafting Guild.
