While this is true - wouldnt it be better to just fix the skills that are clearly not working, rather than providing free xp from an unassociated activity.
A buy-x option for broads would solve the fletching issue posted (which i do not think is a big issue because of konar bars) and crafting needs glassblowing (ive heard this is in the works) and sandstone mine / seaweed patches.
I agree that is not op in the short-term - but it completely changes the meta for these skills in the long term, as killing skotizo every day adds up over time and would likely be FAR superior to wasting time gathering the resources for these skills.
EDIT: As pointed out by another user - ironmen can participate in skotizo's spawned by other people, which could become a major factor in ironman gameplay (afk kourend alts for totem grinding)
(I'm speaking from a neutral/undecided standpoint on this topic as the effects of most updates will always have positives/negatives.)
I definitely agree with your statement, "wouldn't it be better to just fix the skills that are clearly not working" which I would prefer happen instead of my sanfew suggestion above as well. Personally, I don't support the fletching additions as well because I don't consider fletching as an issue as there are a ridiculous amount of addy/rune bars floating around through slayer. However, with Crafting in my opinion, has been a skill that seems to be way more "grindy" than it should be and I do not see a problem with these implementations as they seem fair and not over-tuned.
All in all, I believe increasing wild activity would be great for alora. I've always thought of 'imagine how big alora would be if the wild was also very active'. Maybe this could be a solid first step? Who Knows.
Edit: I also do not agree with crystal keys and bloody keys being 500PKP each, I would support the idea of not having them in the shop, or being able to buy them at a much higher price.
