What is your suggestion?:

Make Abyssal Tentacle Degrade.

The current price of whips and tents

Abyssal Whip 6,5-9m

Abyssal Tentacle 16-22m

My suggestion is to make the tent Degrade at the rate of OSRS (10,000 hits) Every tent dissolved would add 10k hits

Let's be honest here Bosses on Alora are easy and you can afk a lot of them.

This brings value to Whips/Abyssal demons

It has the potential to give value to Tents as well as you can increase the number of charges.

 

Currently, Rapior is only +1 str bonus above the tent  but costs 100x the price 

The tent also provided posion making it the better option 

Scythe cost 3 bloods and vails of blood to use making

NOW COMES THE ARGUMENT OF UNTRADEABLE

Simple this can be the same as any item you add things to

(Blowpipe, trident, revenant bracelet, and Scythe.)

Make it account Specific charges.

(meaning you can see at any point but if you buy a new one it holds the same amount as the one you sold)

(Upon death, the tent would not break)

Yes But Abyssal Tentacle are not tradeable in OSRS

How would this benefit Alora?:

This would make the Best in slot one-handed slash weapon in the game some value.

Support, want it to degrade cus its price right now is pure trash.. there are a lot in game and that would make a lot of tents disappear which Imo will higher the price up...

I don't know about this, the price of the tentacle whip are somehow high, and with this suggestion it will make the price even more higher, but i am gonna be neutral on this.

Tbh prices are low now they used to be 30m+ and getting a tent drop was good you make 6-10m per drop now on a tent after you combine with a whip

not really, the rapier is only +1 damage from rapier and rapier is 1.2b and doesn't have poison but tent got poison so technically tent should be a bit higher..

Totally agree, as outside raids, tent is even way more dps than scythe, which cost 3 bloods per attack, while this shit is free. Buff outsideraids-scythe + add cost to this wep.

Having additional whips as an ironman would make this suggestion feel useful. Not quite sure if this would raise their prices, but it’s not that bad of an idea either. Neutral.

Support, I don't think this suggestion makes it too much more challenging, considering how easy it is to camp Kraken. I also think it'd be healthy for our economy to have a tent sink.

This should have been implemented since day 1, since people could have been taking too much advantage of the non-degreable weapon while it shouldn’t. Definitely support on this suggestion.

Due to Kraken being somewhat 'AFKable' to players, tentacle's aren't too hard to come by unless you refuse to camp the boss. Would be interesting to see how the economy reacts to degradable weapons. Support.

Support I think this would add another "challange" or another thing to "watch out for" and it is also always good to have a money/item sink in the game. Seeing as this is already in OSRS I totally for adding it to Alora.

I think this is a fair idea, and you provide a solid argument. I'm open to this change, but interested to feel how the community as a whole.

im neutral on this. i like it because of ur reasons above but  im against it because of how it would affect ironmen because normies can simply purchase a new tent although ironmen would have to get the rng to get a drop

you would keep the tent you keep it in osrs you lose the whip

I'm open to this idea and you make a good argument to support it. I don't understand the "ironmen would have more work" argument against it in the replies considering that's the whole idea of that game mode and this is something ironmen deal with in osrs itself.

Support - the only consideration would be the amount of hits before degrading. OSRS has a different player count, different number of payers killing kraken, different number of tentacles in game etc... maybe the number of hits before degrading shouldn't be copied directly from OSRS due to the differences between the two games but i guess someone with data could work that out to make sure its reasonable.
