Welcome everyone to the first SOTW for Alora, that I know of. First the introduction of the competition I'll be hosting a "Open" event for any type of Tag to be created.
I've taken it upon myself to do this on behalf of my lack of "activity" where it should count, I'm usually the quiet person. Anyone is welcome and yes, there will be a reward.
1. All signatures must be made by the person who submits it, collaborations are not allowed. Anyone is allowed to participate in SOTW.
2. Signatures must be of a reasonable size and no bigger than the following:
- Horizontal Signatures: 550 pixels width x 350 pixels height
- Vertical Signatures: 350 pixels width x 500 pixels height
3. All signatures entered must follow the theme chosen for that week.
4. You are allowed to interpret the themes in your own way. As long as the sig has a connection to the given theme.
5. You are allowed to use any kind of text in your signature as long as it doesn't include your forum username. Using text in your signature is optional and not a must.
6. One entry per week. You are allowed to change your entry one time, by sending me a new PM.
7.Do not vote for your own signature and don't vote for someone simply because you like the render they used. Analyze all entries strong and weak points before you place your vote.
8. No premade signatures are allowed. Your signature can't be created before the discussion thread is created.
9. You're not allowed to enter a signature that you have posted on the forums or at any other site before the voting starts. You are only allowed to display your signature after the SOTW voting is over.
11. All entries shall be sent to me in a private message, PM.
12. The voting will be anonymous and no usernames will be displayed in the poll. Each signature will be given a number instead.
13. In order to submit your Tag, you must PM me your submission with your Username the name of your submission and picture proof of the submission layers in Photoshop or choice, below will be an example of proof of creation.

I personally think Signature of The fortnight would be a better idea, but nonetheless, I'm glad to see a graphic design competition finally being hosted - hope to see it become an official thing in the near future. Thanks for hosting, Learn, and good luck to all participants.

It's probably going to end up being every two weeks depending on how its received if more people become interested I may host them once a week, if everyone isn't submitting on time or not voting in time Itll stay every two weeks.

Bi-weekly does make more sense as it gives participants enough time to submit entries and get through the voting process. It’s nice to see these kinds of events being hosted on the forums. Looking forward to seeing the entries!

Yeah dude definitely.
Like I said it's probably going to stay bi-weekly.
I as well am excited to see the entries, I have mine cooked already and she's a spicy one.
Is there a certain amount of participants/entries needed in order to go through to voting? Obviously not 1, and surely not 2? I would suggest 3-4+.
I mean however many there are at the closing of the submission stage and if anyone wants an extension I can extend it, this being the first event isn't a big deal for time constraints.
