The Inferno Boss Practice

As you all know then yesterday was a Q&A with Omicron and  a lot has been asked.

Many of you know how aids is inferno. but in all this time and effort to get @ 69 wave and after that get 100+ hit from zuk is frustrating.

I asked him about "Inferno practice" with instant Zuk teleport to try out the boss before you have to go all they way to 69 wave.

Keep in mind that in practice u wont achieve the cape to you're account.

Omicron told @ Q&A that he can make it happen but there has to be suggestion to see what other players think about it.

I'm not opposed to this but if enough people want it sure.

No support. As much as this would benefit people by saving time to practice on the boss, the real practice is getting through all those waves to get to the boss. You don’t get that same experience starting at wave 69 as there’s less pressure if you mess up on that wave. It took me around 5-6 inferno runs to finally complete it, and I started to get more comfortable with it the more times I died due to learning from my mistakes.

This would be great for those who haven't received the Infernal Cape yet, but would devalue the capes that are already in game.

Sorry, I don't like this.

I think the point of the Inferno is the challenge of it. I personally had ~8 attempts until I finally got the cape, even without max gear.

The feeling you get when you finally get the cape is like no other. Besides, having a higher donator rank kinda handles this already. If you're for example Uber donator you can start from the 40th wave.

I'm very neutral on this.

It would help a ton of people be able to acquire the infernal cape, but half the fun and excitement is learning it through trial and error and eventually completing it.

I myself do not have an inferno cape but believe that being able to practice Zuk would defeat the purpose. It is not that difficult to go through all the waves from my experience it just takes time. The more you continue to do it the better you will get at the earlier waves and the more you will care about not messing up at Zuk. It isn't very expensive to attempt the inferno so i think personally if people want to get such a monumental achievement that even yields a reward on the forums they should earn it the proper way :)

Nice suggestion but no support sorry.

No support, would devalue inferno cape and part of the pain of getting is going through those stupid waves. Donate to do less waves per attempt if thats what you want.

I think a more appropriate way for people to practice inferno would be to add the 3 Jads teleporter that is currently on OSRS which allows you to nail down Jads, you can watch a video guide or text guide on how to do Zuk.

I agree. It took me at least that many runs.  I have thousands of KC on the little monsters because it took me so many tries for my first cape.  I do not think that this should be added because it devalues the hard work of the only real achievement on this game.

No support. It is meant to be frustrating having to go through the waves. It is built to be one of the hardest pieces of content in regards to osrs. It is already made easier on here by having no healers, the ability to start some waves in depending on donor status, etc.

Support this would bring new players and give you a shot but at a fee i wouldn't mind paying 5-7m per attempt depending on Donner rank gives you a chance to learn

No support.

The Inferno is meant to be one of the most difficult PVM challenges in the game. Being able to practice the most difficult part devalues actually completing the Inferno.

Learning the mechanics and failing a few times are just parts of the learning curve and make it that much sweeter when you actually complete it. We already don't have to deal with healers so there's no reason to make the Inferno easyscape.

No Support. There's nothing fun about standing in edgeville bank wearing all BiS gear. The fun in the game comes from grinding out and completing challenges. It took me 5 attempts to go from no experience with the inferno to achieving my infernal cape on the uim. During this time i had to balance resources as well as getting used to the mechanics and the cape felt more rewarding because of that.

Compared to OSRS, Alora isnt a challenge. The easier it becomes the less rewarding it feels so I'm not in support of shortcuts like your suggestion.
