I've decided to start keeping track of the progress I've made on my UIM account, Eucalyptus. I'll update it every 1-2 weeks (or after major events), and hopefully it might inspire a few players to start up their very own Ultimate Ironman. I won't be making any insane goals like catching Diseased or Nacyto on the highscores, but I would like to comp this account and maybe get another Tbow.
May 11th, 2019 - Third Comp Monkey
Disclaimer: It's been a while since the last entry, irl and staff duties have delayed my progress a bit.
I picked up this bad boy at the God Commanders Event:
Then I got two 200ms in one day, Woodcutting and Firemaking.
I wanted three skills for comp that were relatively quick, I could have done fishing to go along with cooking but I'll get plenty of XP from capping Raids anyway. Speaking of fishing, it took me nearly 50m fishing XP with mantas to get 10 hard clue scrolls. I swear I got about 20 of all the other clue tiers...
The other requirements weren't so bad, other than maybe 250 strung jewelry and 250 wilderness laps.
And to finally get that monkey, I finished it off with Barrows (and my collection log tab):
3) The Clan Wars achievement can sometimes be ridiculously awful to complete.
In the next few weeks I'll be finishing up the last of my non-Raids gear grind at Bandos (and maybe try to get a Lance at Hydra). Otherwise I'll be doing Raids/TOB and enjoying some skilling on the side.
April 18th, 2019 - Fire and Brimstone
Last weekend I achieved my first 200m, 8k wines in the making:
Spent some time camping Konar tasks, reobtained my Brimstone Boots:
As well as making another piece of end-game gear, the Brimstone Ring:
While still at Hydra, I managed to get my preferred slayer helm color (abby heads got nothing on this):
On the second attempt, got another achievement knocked out. Helps to have master I suppose:
I've been putting off doing the clues achievement for way too long, and I still have the wc/fm grinds to go.
April 3th, 2019 - ZulrahMan Mode

Of all the ways to get my first Alorian vissy... at the World Boss Massacre:
I'll be keeping this for now, hopefully when I get a DHCB I'll be able to really take advantage of it. A real beaut of a shield.
Followed it up with my first Phoenix pet of the account!
I'm currently working on Comp Cape, the three skills I'm planning on getting 200m's in are Cooking, Woodcutting, and Firemaking:
I killed over 250 Zulrah in the past week, and had a bunch of uniques to go along with enough grapes to get me to 200m cooking this Sunday:
And a cheeky double drop, I'll use the Fang when I camp Kril for a Staff of the Dead:
To end this week, I got an Armadyl Chestplate, another piece of my end-game gear.
Next week I'll be moving onto Konar tasks!
March 27th, 2019 - I Love You, Shamans

The last two weeks I've been rebuilding pretty hard after getting PK'ed like a dummy while putting items in my loot bag. Lessons learned, and we move onward.
I finally maxed after much delay, leaving my favorite skill for last (not):
Figured now was a good time as any to start working on those achievements for comp cape. Shearing 250 sheep and running 250 wildy laps will never get old!
Feels good to have some luck on legs, I picked up two of my end-game items this week at God Wars, the Armadyl Chainskirt and the Bandos Tassets:
Wasn't disappointed to get an Onyx from the Crystal Chest, saved me a trip to Tzhaar City! The Amulet of Fury is back:
My internet held up enough to get a drop during the Raids bonus this past weekend; first time ever getting that beautiful hat:
It was promptly sacrificed to the well:
And the big one. Bought full Shayzien, did only three tasks and got the Dragon Warhammer. My first UIM got it at 157 (?) kc, so I guess this account just had to outdo it:
This week I'll continue my gear grind at God Wars, and chip away a bit more at those achievements.
March 12th, 2019 - One Step Forward, Two Steps Back

I failed my goal of maxing the account this past weekend, but I made up for it by getting a couple drops at Raids 1:
Nice to unlock Rigour for future Raids and the Inferno, and it was my first ever time getting Dinh's, so I'll take it (and dropped it right after).
I was nearing the 100 Barrows chests requirement for Comp Monkey when I received a Karil's top. Still on the lookout for Ahrim's, hopefully I'll snag a piece soon..
While I was grinding some extreme tasks I received a Kraken Tentacle, which means I can finally do some melee-based PVM since post-nerf Crystal Hally leaves a lot to be desired.
To wrap up this week I learned a valuable lesson - NEVER think you are safe in wilderness, even in Alora:
The rebuild begins, but it stings to lose those supplies. Onto next week.
March 5th, 2019 - First Entry

I've grinded out two end-game gear goals for this account, mainly because I don't want to clutter my invent up with too many switches for melee/range/mage. I'll instead focus on getting bang-for-my-buck, hybrid accessories.
I'm all set for boots; I received a Drake's claw to make a pair of Brimstone Boots, the best hybrid boots in the game:
I'll be throwing my Rangers into the Well, hopefully to be reclaimed by another iron who needs it somewhere down the line.
I also (finally) upgraded from the glory that I had been rocking for months to a Amulet of Fury. This was done by trading in 300k tokkul for an uncut onyx since I was too impatient to wait around at Zulrah for one to drop. I also got my first fire cape on the account.
I'll be looking to max this upcoming weekend, hopefully I'll be getting some hefty gems and herbs from Raids.
Looking good, brother! I haven’t touched my UIM in ages, so I may get back into it once I reach my goals on my other accounts first. The whole looting bag thing looks tricky to me haha.
O;T - Great progress thus far buddy. Are you having any thoughts lately in relation to Chambers Of Xeric & wanting to grind out a few end-game items? You mentioned something about requiring Herbs from CoX, but what exactly will you be hunting for? :)

Well initially I need to max, so I'd like to do raids for some bulk herbs (toadflax/snaps mostly) and gems to get 99 herb and craft. But there are several items on the list, such as three prayer scrolls, ancestral pieces, tbow, etc for long-term goals.
Now this is something I have been waiting for. Incredible progress made thus far, Sassafras - I would love to one day give the Ultimate Iron Man game mode a go. Keep it up, my man, looking forward to seeing more progress from you.
