 Now i know everyone wants to get rich and famous from Alora streaming. And i appreciate what you are yelling. But I dont need 7 people yelling the same youtube every 15 seconds. There needs to be a rule to prevent this shit.

Should be kept to one person only, multiple people advertising the same channel at the same time is just spammy.

Indeed the advertisements should be the streamer only and once in every 15 minutes. Definitely support.

I get this. 100%. I feel like something should be changed, but it has to be every streamer, not just us streamers on the bottom. Just throwing that out there. I also cannot control my viewers, they are just pumped for my stream, and want it to glow. Sorry for the inconvenience. Sometimes i do say "lets get these yells going", and thats my bad on the spam. But there is also the whole "YEEEHAW" spam as well. Great post though.

Like what iron aritus said, 15 minutes per video/stream advertisement seems more fair. I'm more than happy to abide by that, as well as my viewers.

Livestreams should be advertised by the livestreamers themselves only, and with a time rule put in place - 15 minutes sounds good to me. Not too fond of viewers from livestreams spamming the global chat as well, such as Lowkey's livestream with the whole "o000o0" thing. While livestreamers may not encourage it, it would be nice for them to encourage their viewers not to do it.

I agree that the rules should apply to lowkey as well. Although you cannot control your viewers and what they do. You should not encourage them to spam yell. Streamer should not be punished for what autistic viewers do UNLESS said streamer encouraged the viewers to do so.

Can see how this can be very tedious at times having the chat spammed with links/referrals to streams. I support the idea of allowing this every 15 minutes, that way it can be monitored + less spam through the yell chat. I'm all for it.

I understand the spam i 15 mins is a litte long maybe ever 7-10 mins

This falls under a rule we currently have. 

 

3. Spamming

Spamming on Alora is not allowed, as it causes disarray throughout the server. We aim to maintain a cordial, pleasant atmosphere on Alora. We expect our members to be respectful of one another. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a 24-hour mute, followed by a 48-hour mute, and finally, a permanent mute. If excessive enough, the wrongdoer can be given an IP-Mute, and, finally, a permanent ban will be put into effect if deemed necessary. If the content of the spam contains terribly inappropriate, derogatory, or offensive text, the wrongdoer will receive the latter.

 

• a. If a member acquires a donor status that has a fairly short yell cooldown timer, that does not give them the right to abuse it under any circumstances.

• b. An auto-typer is allowed via public chat to buy or sell items. However, one must have at least 15-second intervals between each message with or without an auto-typer.

• c. Excessive begging for personal gain will not be tolerated on Alora.

• d. Advertising videos, Youtube channels, Or Alora related content will fall under the 5 minute "World yell" timer listed below.
