 What is your suggestion?: Rune shops for ironmen but with a limited stock

Make the shop like on osrs where you can only buy a certain amount and it restocks over time and it gets more expensive when there is less runes in there. The price, stock and restock time would ofcourse have to be balanced

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: I don´t think so (not 100% sure)

How would this benefit Alora?: Currently its an annoying grind to get runes (hard to get blood runes for scythe and sanguinesti staff) and you can get pretty unlucky at barrows, it would be a way for starting ironmen to get their first higher level runes and if the stocks and restock time are balanced it wouldn't be too overpowered.

Support this, also adding blood runes would help a lot with scythe and sang staff.

Or maybe it would be good to add runes for runecrafting points. Because rc points is not so usefull for now I think. Except pouches. But that suggestion maybe was aswell not sure.

Would be easier for ironmen to obtain runes early, but perhaps a bit too easy, even with a limited stock. Neutral.

However, like what Auchupshey said, perhaps let the cost be with runecrafting points instead of cash. That was suggested before I believe, but I would support that.

The runecrafting grind u have to do right now for runes isn't that painfull so.... NO SUPPORT from me.

I like to grind for things to make them happen.

I find it strange that a lot of the community says "it's in OSRS so it should be in Alora" for many things, but not this because it would make it "easier".

 

There should be a way to buy runes as an ironman, whether it's from a shop for coins or another method.

Wouldn't mind seeing this suggestion being implemented. It would provide more options to spend your GP because at the moment there is limited functions you can do with in-game currency as an ironman.

No support. I think there should be other ways of obtaining runes; blood especially, but this is not it. 

 

I think bloodvelds in the catacombs should have the same blood rune drops as osrs where u get around 700 per task. 

 

I agree that blood runes are an issue for ironmen especially those who have TOB weapons, but a rune shop for ironmen in my opinion is too easy of a solution. If we had a rune shop why not have a weapon and range shop then?

Support, but only runecrafting points for runes, not gp.

Gp is insanely easy to get on alora, with caskets / theiving stalls - if runes were purchasable for gp it would essentially delete the need for runecrafting once you have reached 90 other that a requirement for a max cape.
I do support easier access to runes, but would prefer it emphasizes the runecrafting skill rather than make it obsolete for ironmen

 

EDIT: with the insane amount of runes that barrows provides, and the pretty much non-existant barrier to entry, I dont think low level ironman rune supply is an issue

No support for obvious reasons. This has been suggested a few times before and always got declined.

The main issue people have is that it's already far easier to obtain runes in Alora than in OSRS, discounting the shops in the latter. There's no reason for this to be added as it's easy enough to get runes currently.

Have not really done much iron man modes but in the time that I have, I found the rune crafting method like everything else part of the mode, with this possible change, could lead to herb shops fletch shops etc... I think ironman mode is built on the fundamental bases of getting everything yourself.

This has already been suggested and accepted but I'm in favor, maybe not limited because you can't world hop in Alora but I can see rc'ing points being put to use through this. Going to leave this open because only a handful of people were able to voice their opinions.
