Hello, Im suggesting that we remove the dragon harpoon and the dragon sword from raids 1 and replace them with birds nests and red spider eggs or something along those lines. This would really help ironmen out. Thanks

 

EDIT; Im suggesting this because instead of just removing the item rolls which id believe would make uniques more common ( i could very well be wrong)  we could replace them with the items suggested above. 

 

EDIT; after reading the communities opinions i see now that the birds nest and red egg suggestion may not be the best for the ironman gamemode but I think extremedannys suggestion for elite clues and possibly ckeys is a great replacement.

@Extremedanny fair point but what if its the same rarity as the sword/harpoon and its only like 25-100 per drop so it wouldnt be the meta for collecting secondaries.

I would rather see elite clues ans maybe like 10 c keys

those are both good alternatives. Personally I really want the nests because as you're probably aware many irons complain about the current ways to obtain em.

Yeah I don’t really see anything bad about that, maybe keep the dragon harpoon though since that can be really helpful.

It's great to see that Omicron plans to remove them from Raids. However, I'm neutral on your suggestion on how to replace them.

I am huge fan of the removal of the Dragon Harpoon and Dragon Sword. I think adding Spider Eggs and Crushed Nest would make i way too easy for Ironmen to get supplies for both Brew and Restores. Keep in mind the Ironman game mode should be challenging and I don't think you should be able to get supplies for raids simply by raiding.

no thanks to eggs/nests therefore raids 1 would become more for ironmen

This, this is the reason Ironman is easy now, with the amount of brews you can take from raids 2...

OT : I can't support the suggestion but I do think they should be removed but not replaced.

I support this suggestion with new update lvl 99 npcs drop them quite frequently. In my opinion, the dragon sword will always and forever be a troll drop. with the steady decline of dragon harpoons being in demand its price will surly drop to 5-10m in no time. no point in having 2x troll drops for a raid. but as I read other comments I see that Dan has touched on this topic for possible changes *fingers crossed* well done on the suggestion.
