What things should I use in wildly? I'm trying to use as much as I could buy back if I got old. I.e. fighter torso , dragon defender, ect.
Would a slayer helm fall into that category? Or imbued slayed helm? What about my abysmal whip with volcanic paint since its untradeable? Also, what's the deal with bloody chests? How do you open one? What kind of key is needed? Thanks yall.

I'll answer the second part of your inquiry since I'm not too sure what the first part is implying.

 

Bloody chests can only be opened by Bloody keys, which are obtainable from either Rev caves or Crystal dragons/demons. There are also a few known spots throughout Alora that spawn these keys. Locations follow:  Demonic Ruins, Rev caves, Axe hut, Ice plateau, & Pirate's hideout.

Not old I mean pkd.. items I can buy back for cheap from the old guy

If you are trying to do slayer or something i'd say take 3 valueable items (whip, defender and slayer helm), and then equip black d'hide, snakeskin boots and a glory, that would mean you are not risking that much.
If you are planning to go pking then i'd say bring whatever u can afford.

If you’re a good pker I wouldn’t worry too much about buy back prices. If on the flip side you struggle with pking then probably a barebones setup similar to what you mentioned like fighter torso, whip, dragon platelegs, dragon defender. None of those items cost too much and they are all pretty easy to obtain.

If I'm correct, ur wondering what you should use when you are slaying in the wilderness?

 

My suggestion is: slayer helm---> whip/blowpipe---> dragon defender ---> black d'hides always work fine.
