(For those wondering 'why the new topic' - this will be my main account from now on, so I made a topic with this account in order to update it easier.)
Hey all,
Recently after achieving some big milestones for myself on my EIM (2k+ total & Firecape) I've decided to take on another challenge just because 'why not'.
Since I've now approached the grinding stage on my EIM I want to have side project while i grind out supplies - I've decided to do an account where I get one 99 at a time.
I know this has been done before, but I just thought I'd share my progress and maybe motivate others, possibly to complete on EIM/HC/Classic as I don't have that kind of dedication after my EIM haha.
IGN = One99 , feel free to say hello!
RULES:
1). Only allowed to train ONE skill at a time.
2). Combat skills also must be trained separately ie. Not allowed to gain hitpoint LEVELS while training strength.
3). Post 99 training is allowed - Some skills I won't be able to solely focus on due to normal OSRS content missing. So an example of this would be that I must achieve 99 hp before I begin training Att/Str/Def as I'll be gaining hp xp while training combat stats.
4). Ironman Account only.
Feel Free to suggest some rules to make this a bit more challenging for me!
Current Strategy:
99 Range - 99 Defence - 99 Farming - 99 Herblore.
Future Goals:
1). Achieve Maxed status (didn't see that one coming did ya)
2). Maybe future one boss at a time?
3). Have fun.
4). De-iron to become a 'Normie Main' account.
Update 1:
Spoiler
If anyone is kind enough to PM me how to add those spoiler bars, that'd be awesome :)
Didn't get a chance to play much today, though i achieved a bit - as you can see I've also tried to set myself up for other skills in the future. Spent roughly ~1m xp at master farmer and ~800k xp at rogues den when thieving.
Today was rather slow, probably spent 20% mining and 80% standing in front of a rock as I was busy gaining supplies on my EIM for the weekend (bloody crafting grind).
Although I got 99 mining out of the way, super lucky with the pet towards the end as i received 2 pets from 98-99, and begun my 99 agility task.
So far the plan is to achieve 99 agility followed by 99 rc to which I'll begin my 99 mage grind. I'm planning to do some alching/enchanting or some curse/stun alch to 99 as I'm unable to splash (unless I can find a sapphire ring somewhere which i have an idea).
Apologies for the delayed update, had to take care of a few things and focused on my GIM for a bit (Original Rank 1 Mining - R.I.P Iron Aritus). Either way I've made some progress - finally achieved 99 mage! as you know I had no staff available, searched everywhere in the wildy and no spawns..., so I very very carefully splashed to 21 mage( Elemental Wizards have +15 mage def bonus, the highest I could find for a low level) after 21 mage I low alched untill I unlocked high alch and after ~2,500 alchs I'm 99!
Though I did screw up.... I thought I could splash entangle and do an alch straight after BUT turns out snare actually damages and you gain hitpoint experiences.... so 1.5m and a talk to the combat instructor later - 10hp again!
It's definitely been a while.
Have been pre-occupied with few things IRL so i haven't had much time to play but I've been slowly chipping away.
Currently in the process of getting 99 Hitpoints, which is taking a fair bit of time as I've already burn't through 6000 bloods, unfortunately I did not do cooking prior to this so I've had no food which has extremely limited me to where I can train...
I've mainly been doing Pest Control and Giant Mole, with some dragons for the 99 prayer grind, unfortunately I did screw up.. I did not realize that PC de-selects your autocast which lead me to gaining an attack level and I accidentally buried a bone due to force of habit.. Though I will reset these skills before i begin to train them!
Here is a brief picture of what to expect from ~200 kills of giant mole for those who are wondering seeds are as follow:
Finally finished 99 Hitpoints, probably the worst and longest skill...., now that is done and dusted I will focus on gaining some total levels so I quickly smashed out 99 cooking!
I'm planning to set myself up nicely to achieve 99 Range quickly which after that I'll be training defence through range with the shared exp attack.
Here are the three main monsters I trained on as they were easy to get to and easy to safe spot.
Overall I gained 19,997,979 Magic exp post 99 via using firewave to 99 hp.
also 3,764.732 Runecrafting exp post 99 & 1,730,517 Mining exp post 99 just from getting the required blood runes.
Unfortunately work will be starting soon so I'll be on less frequently BUT I will put most of my time into this account, so I can provide constant updates!
Update 7: Got myself a ticket on the gain-train!
Spoiler
Took advantage of the BXP on sunday and monday (thank the lord for the extension!) to gain some levels in a few easy skills!
Completed most of what I had with the materials in the bank, I was going to do crafting post 99 range as it would've given me more d'hides for the grind. Though I completely forgot about the level requirement to make bow string.. and for the life of me I could not be bothered grinding a drop for RCB and MSB.
With the few gems I had, ~450ish black dhides, ~120ish bue dhide and some gold bars I began the training on the skill. Ran out of supplies at 95 so had to kill few more black dragons for the ~3m exp i was missing. Safe to say I hate runecrafting now after 18m RC exp I've gained (Mined all my rune ess too...) and 37m Magic exp I've gained so far. The BXP extension made this a lot easier to achieve!
From here as you can see I will be achieving 99 Range followed by 99 Defence using the long range attack with range.
During this grind I will be doing some barrows and also will try find some monsters that drops herb seeds for my 99 harblore grind as I easily have 99 Farming banked via Tree seeds.
First to achieve 6 thousand kills on a boss in-game.
First to achieve 7 thousand kills on a boss in-game. Most active Player June Award (2017). Most active Player July Award(2017) Best pvmer of July Award(2017). Best Clan Award, Live to kill (2017).
I really like the concept of this. Someone had done this over at Old School RuneScape and I followed his/hers progress via Reddit. Great progress thus far, keep up the good work! Just a quick suggestion - use img BBCodes, your viewers would be able to see the images right off the bat, instead of having to open up another tab to see the images.
