Dear Reader,

 

I am suggesting that the monster drop table be dynamically changing based on specific character buffs/ donation statuses. For example,

 

If player "Bob" has used a drop booster item and was to view the monster drop table in-game, the drop rates change due to the drop buff on the account.

 

If player "Bob" decides to donate for Uber/Master then view the monter drop table in-game, the drop rates should change due to the accounts donation status along with the drop booster item that the player may have also consumed.

 

Lastly, lets not forget about the pet booster/ golden hammer items as well. These items effects could/should also be visible within the monster drop table.

 

Note: Im guessing this is something that can get thrown on the pile of QoL updates.

I would like to see the drop table updated to say the chance to say drop rate is 1/516 instead of a percent

It is very easy to do the math in my opinion, not hard to calculate the drop rates. But it would be useful to see the different rates automatically. Support.

This is a great idea, a lot of people are still confused on the current drop tables.

I do not support, your suggestion is great altough I dont think this is what Omnicron should spend his time on at this moment, with lowlands soon been released on OS.

 

Perhaps this is something which could be implemented together with all the other quality of life suggestions which have been requested and make it one big update just for QOL.

Excellent suggestion. If I'am reading this correctly. You're suggestion that with the active use of a 'drop scroll' the 15% drop boost would show its signifance on the interface itself? If so. I 100% support this suggestion.

I guess my main question is if this is worth the dev time, would be nice to have though. Golden hammer shouldn't be affected by this though, as that's for a Skilling pet and not a monster drop. If you put in a table for one Skilling pet then you'd need to do it for the rest.
