I’m pretty new to both Alora and Ironmanning (that a good way to say it?) and I am good at gearing up to rune melee with d scim, basic void stuff for everything else. So my question is:

What’s the best minimum gear to start doing like zulrah or kraken for trident/BP

I'd say use fire wave, or Fire bolt with chaos guantlent from achievement store, if u dont have enough points, just have 10 hours playtime and u can auto complete many achievements (pvp ones) , atleast thats what i did on my eim, i used magic (fire wave if got blood runes i if i dont then fire bolt with chaos guantlent).

 

oh and also use tome of fire, super super important / good for fire spells.

 

Forgot about kraken, well its basically the same, use void for them too void is super good :) .

Full void range with rune c bow and ruby bolts e are always what I did to rush zulrah. Mage is best there but meh, runes are scarce early game ironman

I did fire wave at 75 mage with void and got a bp at 11 kc

I’d say your best bet if you don’t fine the answer you’re looking for here is to join the “ice” cc and ask around there.

I’d say void with rune crossbow or mage, since you’re Ironman and the XP rate isn’t that bad you don’t really have to go, for example salad robes. Or any other mage gear.
I’d get void first, grind for the blowpipe and go from there.

Definitely work on increasing your slayer level as you'll need 87 to do Kraken. Basically what 7ashkal said, plenty of good advice there. :)

If you end up going with the mage route at zulrah, I’d suggest grinding a few barrows chests as the tunes for us are O.P.

I’ll personally be doing zulrah with rune c’bow and ruby bolts (e) once I start slayer

I grinden elite void (3 sets) first, then something like a dscim/whip for barrows.

Grinded deaths n bloods at barrows for kraken.

Then grinded out kraken for tent n trident.

After trident i went to Zulrah. Rn grinding out Zulrah for bp n everything.

 

This way worked pretty well for me. This is on my UIM tho (UIM Maxx).

i been using fire wave and ahrims and some other mage bonuses. and im only level 72 mage so i have to use imbued heart to boost to fire wave. but its enough to do 2 kills before having to wait for imbue heart to recharge again. if youre going to do the mage method, make sure to use fire tome as it gives % boost to all fire spells which greatly helps.

I’ve seen many already gave you what you’re looking for so I’ll just add a super helpful tip. Use a tom of fire with an air battle/regular staff, this will allow you to firewave with only blood runes in your inventory taking 1 blood per cast. Good luck with your grind :).

I would just use fire spells at Kraken until you get a trident drop, than use trident at Zulrah or use firespells/ruby bolts at Zulrah. 

 

Basic welfare gear can be used, just use sharks+ at Zulrah to not get combo'd out.

Honestly dude, i've done zulrah on real osrs, and tons of servers, and like you could do zulrah with just void range and a rune crossbow with ruby (e)'s, I did it for the longest time without mage and had sub 1:45kills. You could even switch to a msb when zulrahs below half just since ruby (e)'s wouldn't matter much then, + you'd have the MSB special as well.

Void and fire spells will be your best friend until you start GWD and get a trident and bp.
