Woke up to seeing my bank value went below 1b and i cried for a second but looked at the changes. They are fair changes, may I add, but there are still a bunch of items that are still worth 1gp according to the bank evaluator or just a lot lower than it's actual worth.

 

 

Examples: 

 

Berserker Ring - 1gp evaluator vs 13-15m TP

Ranger Boots - 1 gp evaluator vs 20m TP

Rune Darts  - 1 gp evaluator vs 1.3-1.5k each

All barrows items outside of the set ranges based off the item from 500k-2m TP, all 1gp each in evaluator

Occult Necklace - 700k evaluator vs 5-7m TP

Runite Bars - 1 gp evaluator vs 20-25k TP

Would love to see all the 1gp items finally being fixed.

 

Tbf, I wouldn't mind that all item prices would just match osrs so everything is kept on death the same and all that.

I logged in and saw the value fell by ~800M and thought I’d lost something. Everything that was overpriced on the evaluator got nerfed and almost nothing that was underpriced it priced at 0 remained the same.

I'm sure this is something Omicron can fix in the future, no big deal.

I believe this has been suggested before, but I support it anyways. Would be nice to have a more accurate value of our banks. :)

Perhaps creating a thread that acts as a player run database for which items need changing from 1gp would help. 

Having one list containing all items that players feel are important enough to be given a correct value could help speed up the process.

@fiji water Not sure why some of these items are 1gp, but the ones that were changed (and ended up reducing your bank value) are based on the Trading Post history from the past few months and should be relatively accurate. Thanks for bringing up these items, I'll look into it further and get out pricing system to work more accurately. :)

Glad I saw this, was really worried seeing my bank only at 550m.

 

Thought I was poorer then i actually was for a bit.

 

EDIT: Omicron Addy darts, steel bars, coal, gold ore all valued at 1gp and they have a little bit of value for sure. My DHCB is valued at 80m when the cheapest is 180m, is that "average" correct? Should we be valuing the untradable versions of items like imbued rings and items such as infernal pick as their original item prices too? Not sure how others feel about that. My anguish (or) is 1gp aswell.

Hope this will get fixed, imo it’s more of a bug report than suggestion but in the end it doesn’t really matter.

I’d just go look for items who are still at 1gp and let Omicron now, good luck.

Would it save the staff team time if there 'd be a dedicated thread (or form) in which players could point out item values that aren't correct?

I think this might solve problems with item values effectively (now and in the future).

I wouldn’t mind seeing it, but you can also just send him a PM with the items.
