New potential boss/quest monsters

This is just a suggestion/thought that i had towards having a wider selection of fight able bosses.

 

What if we have a new store along with points called Bossing store/ Boss Points

 

where it would introduce players to solo fighting non dropable bosses that we have in the game such as Galvek.

its quite a challenge to fight Galvek and if a player defeats him he would be rewarded with boss points, which he can later use in the boss store once obtained enough points for an item.

the store would work as slayer/pkp and all the other point shops.

along side this we can use old bosses like :

- Barrelchest : who has deactivating and draining prayer abilities.

- Daganoth Mother : who requires many different ways of combat to defeat.

- Arzinian Being of Bordanzan : who requires the player to mine gold ore + uses attacks weak to the players offensive stats.

- Abomination : Level 465 with the ability to drain players stats by 2 each attack.

 

most monsters have a unique mechanic and one often needs a strategy to fight them which make the fights quite fun. The only thing some of these monsters might need is a boost on their stats to make them more of a challenge like for example they deal more damage or have more hp.

No thanks. The last thing we need is another store to bring items into the game that are already quite easy to obtain as is. We aim to resemble OSRS as a server and I see no point in getting points for killing a boss. 

 

 However, I would like to see Galvek added to make DS2 more authentic and the Barrelchest already exists in the game to get the  barrelchest anchor.

I think it’s fine enough to do extreme slayer tasks and get slayer points for killing assigned bosses. Adding a bossing store/points system is not needed, so I cannot support your suggestion.

@Moral truth - i see what you mean, how about adding bosses like galvek to extreme tasks?

i like the suggestion by @M A C K  to add him into the dragon slayer 2 quest line also.

I’m fine with adding Galvek to extreme slayer tasks, hopefully as an instanced boss like Vorkath.

No Support - not in OSRS. Wouldn't mind some more OSRS monsters in Alora however if they are to be introduced i would like them to be implemented in a way that is inline with OSRS. This seems too gimmicky for my tastes but thats just my opinion.

With such limited areas in alora because it is a private server, adding any other quests/bosses would just be extra and more than likely have a bad look on alora. No support.

You kinda described the slayer skill, I dislike this idea although you could think of something with one of these monsters but as some have mentioned above, this isn’t really OSRS based.

I think this is one of the worst suggestions ever for monsters, like these bosses aren't even fun to do on real osrs, let alone to farm lol
