Instead of paying gp to insure pets, and some players have more then 1 of those pets. We could add an option to exchange 1-2 of that same pet to insure 1 you have left over. Example: i have 3 beavers, i give 2 to an NPC to insure the 1 i have left instead of paying for it. Seeing that more then 1 pet is pointless (unless you collect).

I think the 10m is reasonable to insure a pet. Having more than one of the sme pet and using that to cover the costs, that isn’t exactly how insurance works nor should work, to be honest.

I feel like since we base everything around osrs, (even draining pray points faster which is so dumb) it should be lowered to the 1m in osrs.

One thing to keep in mind about this line of thought, and the reason that I cant agree with this. Alora gold is less valuable than OSRS gold. And when I say this, I mean items that cost 20m on RS, cost 200m on alora. (A bit of an exaggeration)

Another point about OSRS gold being more valuable than Alora, if you purchase a bond on OSRS for $7.00 you get ~3m Ingame gold.
If you purchase a bond on Alora for $10.00, you get ~80-90m ingame gold.

All of this being stated, 10m is somewhat trivial on Alora compared to OSRS.

This is a really cool idea in my opinion, would love to see this implemented especially because when going for 200m skills you get so many pets its ridiculous. Huge support.

I agree that multiple pets is pointless other than collecting.. I support your idea, however in my opinion I think exchanging extra pets for something other than this, which could be more ideal for everyone & possibly something beneficial towards that skill specifically. (with consideration to all types of Player)

I would love to see a use for duplicate pets in the future but I don't think this is a good solution for it honestly.

I don't think it would be bad to have an option to sell your "Duplicate" pets that you have aquired for maybe a small price such as 1M or 1.25M per pet.

 

Depending on how you are suggesting this will determine my support.
