@ Omicron I'm going to make this short as we have made a video for you before. As a solo developer for the largest osrs based server out there you keep Alora as close to OSRS as possible. You work extremely hard to pump out new content old school release at a ridiculous rate. Although not everything is perfect, you monitor the suggestions forums and try to apply these fixes as soon as possible. You make an astronomical amount of money, but you don't take it for granted. You're not afraid to put money back into the players with special events, and you work closely along side @ king purple to give the players the best experience in game with events etc. The community is truly grateful for the work you do, and you have a phenomenal team behind you. Thank you again, and here's to another 5 years of alora

I do agree that Omicron is a very talented developer and has been doing an amazing job, but I don't think Alora will last for 5 years. Don't let Jagex's legal team find out

Daddy Omicron is such a humble person, he puts in a TON of work for Alora, Staff Team and most importantly the community. I had the privilege of meeting him IRL and it was awesome to say the least. He has helped me personally with a ton of things in my life and I am forever grateful for that. Firm handshakes brother, you deserve all of this.

Thanks @ Omicron for your work but I don't agree that you have awesome team behind you. There are some awesome Staff members, yea..

 

And there are Staff members banning people for lending money to a friend (Equalized's case atm) or decliding suggestions just because they were already declided months and months ago.. That's something I really can't appreciate..

 

I may look like a douchebag but that's how I feel it (and many of my friends on Alora too).

Seen one person once banned for real world trading falsely, because of that. But even then Omicron went on his way to refund the person. I have a hard time believing that he was actually banned lending items. That's probably the most common excuse when a person decides to real world trade. They don't just ban for no reason at all and this coming from someone who knows the methods they are using and how they punish etc.

Just throwing my 2 cents in. I know equalized very well, we have been mates for 4-5 years now and hopped from server to server together. I can attest that he probably didn't rwt considering his financial status. Lets just say he owns a few properties and is very well off. It's not my place to discuss someone's financial status so I'll leave it at that. That being said I find it extremely hard to believe equalized actually rwt, but hey I'm not him and im also not staff so I don't know all the circumstances surrounding it.

You absolutely deserve more credit than the community can ever give you. Many of us have gotten the chance to become really great friends and are able to enjoy such an amazing game because of you! I know some members of the community will always be unappreciative, but just know that the majority of us love everything that you do for us, especially the ones who have stayed here since the beginning or close to it.

It’s always great to hear positive feedback from you guys... it really does push me to go above and beyond as a developer. I regularly read the comments on my update threads, partially to make sure that the content in the update is well received, but also to hear this sort of feedback and to see people enjoying what I’m putting out. I live for that, and if I could make just one person happy with those new updates, I’m content.

 

With that being said, it’s more than just a game, we’ve got an incredible community to take care of... and there’s a lot that goes into this from within the staff team as well, which can often be a thankless job. So I’d like to give a big thank you to the staff team for keeping things afloat all for the betterment of Alora. None of us are perfect, but I could say without a doubt that our team has the community & the server’s best interest in mind, and there’s no way I’d be able to run this thing without them.

Honestly @ Omicron has done so much over these 2 years to make Alora great it's very impressive that he's done it all as a solo developer. Over the time i've been here I've had a couple of times where I have spoke to him in-game and every time has been fun. The think about Omicron I respect is that he has always been there to listen to the community and is a very nice guy in all. I can't wait to see many more amazing updates and keep up the good work dude.
